I'd always had high hopes.
The way that Takara have been moving the line along in the last 2 years has been amazing & the quality just keeps improving.

Can't wait to see Magnus & then what follows

Possibly the fact that you can see all the intricate details in grey form.
Once they get painted up they lose something.

Just hope they can secure the proper sponsors logos for him.
If they can't I'd just prefer they left him blank instead of going with fake ones like they did with Smokescreen

Batman came about 30 mins ago.

Box is huge, just comes past my waist ( i'm 6'2 ). Statue is very very nice don't believe the **** on the other forums, the cloth looks great on him and the paints are all great. The face parts are a little dark but it's just where they went a little crazy with the 5 o clock shadow, but really he looks great.

The Ex Batarang actually looks a lot better than i thought it would, it's actually noticeable which i didn't think it was really on the preview pics. I wouldn't be paying the extra money its commanding now but it does finish the statue off nicely.

Stands around 26" tall, wouldn't fit in my besta with the Tomba doors lol would have to move a shelf up. I'm not keeping it as it's for the flipping but if anyone has it on order or is gonna order it, i am confident to say you won't find a more impressive Batman piece in 1/4 scale, EX or not!

Can't believe the size of that box though, that's a monster.

Glad to hear the Ex Batarang is noticeable, I had been wondering about that as the pose originally looked like it would be hidden by the cape.

Did you have to fiddle with the clothing at all to get it snug?

I shall make sure I am wearing one of Chloe's spare nappies for the inevitable soilage once I open him up lol

No Fiddling at all, i suppose you could mess and get it looking better but honestly it's not as bad as people are making out.

Been working through my collection plans today, going over what I'm going to sell off, what I'll keep and what I'll buy. With my #1 grail piece Superman due in March I had a scout of what I'll go for next and the 2 I really want are the DC Comics ArtFX Supergirl and Catwoman. Both a few years old and both going to be a pain to get. Dammit.
