Thanks for explaining Bitcoins, guys. I have some Tron Flynn's Arcade coins that were probably way more limited than Bitcoins. Can't wait until their prices start blowing up.

Was informed I had been issued a refund for something I bought ages ago that never materialised from a company that seemingly has gone bust or as good as. Finally happy to have it done and this effectively being free money in the present as it was spent long in the past, I bought the new Zelda with a clean conscience (really watching the pennies these days). Then got a mail saying the refund notice was a mistake... well that sucks. I won't exactly be quitting the process but thought it was finished with a satisfactory outcome so this is a little gutting.
Just hope I don't feel guilt every time I load up Zelda.

How unlucky I have been with HDDs these three weeks.
First, one HDD in a NAS (RAID 1) develops bad blocks. New HDD bought, replaced defective drive, everything seemed fine, NAS turned off.
NAS on again a couple of days later, the remaining old HDD is no longer recognised, the NAS deleted its own firmware.
Firmware reinstalled, the NAS is unable to detect its own old array (firmware the same version as before); and the NAS itself isn't able to end the shutdown process correctly.
Luckily that was the backup NAS, so no real harm done...or so I thought.
New NAS bought, everything set up, starting to create the backup from zero...one of my PC HDDs (the one with the data, of course), is apparently busted. I normally keep all my data on a second, RAID10 NAS, but the data on that HDD was the data-not-important-enough-for the-NAS...let's see if I'm able to recover something from either the backup NAS HDD or from the apparently busted HDD...sigh.

I'm not having a go at the people who click it, I get the sentiment, I just think by now Facebook could have a deeper system in place for acknowledging things than a big thumbs-up. I suppose my irk is social media seemingly being intent on making people interact with things in meaningless ways rather than having them simply digest a story or share it or comment on it properly.

I mainly use like for situations when I don't want to be bombarded by emails or if I want that person's post to be seen by more people. I've noticed FB's app and FB's mobile website have different features - I can't unfollow a post in the app but I can on the site. Also, the website lets me download the full size photos. But the app is the only way for me to upload photos.
I rarely use my laptop these days or else none the above would be a hassle.
