My Dad died a week and a half ago. Trying to arrange a funeral over the xmas period is challenging. Solicitors are absolutely the most unprofessional profession I have ever had to deal with. They've clearly broken up for xmas but their answerphone message just says there's no one there to take a call right now, leave message and they'll get back. I asked them for my Dad's will last monday and was met with "We're short staffed and very busy til after xmas". WTF!? I don't care. Surely you have a filing system? I give you my dad's name, address and DOB, show up with a death certificate and you give me his will?
