Bought a blower/mulcher thing for leaves. This thing is brilliant. I's like a video game weapon wielding it.
Love raking autumn leaves but this thing brings a certain satisfying manliness to being rid of the buggers =)

10 years ago the company my Dad worked for went bankrupt. He ended up in possession of this fancy wall clock that my Mum has had hanging in the play room (where she works as a childminder) for the past 10 years - non-operational. Today she says she wants to get it working and so she begins looking at new clock mechanisms to install. This is where I notice the installed battery is installed the wrong way round. Fresh Duracell installed properly and it's all good.
Can't make it up.

Still, always liked the idea of a restoration of a faulty model.
