I've never taken a good look at the Slave 1, so I've only just noticed it has Han in carbonite in the set. That's a great touch.
Just looked at it on the Lego shop, does anyone know, roughly, what the timescale is for 'Hard to Find', to 'Retiring soon', is? I'm not sure if one follows the other, but I don't want to miss out like I did with the Birds set.Comment

Roughly Star Wars sets have a 2 year production life, the Slave 1 was 'Hard to Find' as soon as it was released. I wouldn't pay too much attention to it tbh.Originally posted by Super Grover View PostComment

I am similarly conflicted about heading to Legoland this Jan 1st, which is also a national holiday in Japan. All the evidence I can find says it will be open, but will they have the new stock?? Could be a depressing start to 2016 if I head out there for nothing lolComment

Im pretty certain this will be exclusive to Lego stores/online for a while. Im planning on heading to my local store on New Years Day to pick one up. Also the Lego Brick Bank set also goes on sale the same day, going to be an expensive New Year
