The "getting out of retail" job I interviewed for a couple of weeks back and told me they would be in touch once the chap who does the second stage returns from holiday actually emailed me this morning!
Hopefully have the second stage interview later this week. The first stage was really positive and was about 90 minutes when it should have only been 45 minutes. It was more a relaxed chat rather than a formal interview.
So, so hoping the second stage goes well!!

Congrats on the new job, if I wasn't very clear!
I hated my last company, they treated me like dirt 💩 then were surprised when I wanted to leave and threatened to sue me!
Lo and behold, one of their staff was in the reception of my new job yesterday and took great joy in telling the guy they were there to see, just what kind of company they are and to steer clear!

Yes, sir!
It's Star City. The cinema is Vue, but the arcades are downstairs in the bowling alley.
There's a decent, modern selection. I put pics in the arcades thread a couple of weeks ago.
Didn't have time to play it again, sadly, but my mates sat in it and walked out with either wide-eyed astonishment or a big cheesy grin!

I ALMOST got to have a go while in Japan but they misses got spooked by a high school friend and her family appearing in the mall and we had to make a break for the exit. We'd gotten the purekura done first so all was good. I swear those purekura machines are INSANELY complicated. I'm surprised they haven't introduced an IC card-based levelling system yet.
