So on the back of the evidence Grusch presented to congress, congress now are of the opinion that Intel agencies are still withholding information.
As such they have written a UFO Legislation Bill and piggybacked it onto the defence budget bill going through.
The UFO bill is pretty crazy because it talks about disclosing evidence of 'non-human intelligence' and releasing all they have on UAPs.

The bill just passed it's first reading and mostly has bipartisan support.

I'm hesitant about this.

I think, those in congress, are just endorsing this because it serves their agenda, namely to decentralise anything from the federal government to local government.

I think the senate need to keep chipping away at this. This is definitely the discussions to be having.

As for Grusch, I just don't know. He says he has a lot of evidence, but none of this is first hand. He's simply spoken to people and obtained photos, videos and other bits and bobs. But who else has seen these? Who's vetted them to ensure they are real?

Either he's lying and he'll be thrown in jail for lying to the senate under oath.

It's the third option, he's been strung along by his work colleagues and has bought into a conspiracy theory that he kind of believed when he took the job.

Grusch has no evidence because there isn't any, he's just desperate to believe there is.

So either a significant number of military personnel are insane or part of some huge psyop to cover up what was already covered up for 50 years, or something else is going on.

If it's been captured, retrieved, investigated, researched and then utilised to the point of being able to successfully retroengineer it in such a way that it's able to be used and absolutely no-one using it is aware that it's curiously uber-advanced to pre-existing tech then what it actually suggests more is that military personnel possess a level of understanding and scientific knowledge that far exceeds that of everyone else and are puposefully withholding it from the global community and their own forces.

And that that is happening within pretty much every military force in every nation around the world because UFO's aren't a US exclusive phenomenon. So, this retroengineered tech is either purposefully also being withheld and unused or... doesn't exist.

So, even if we run that it is of extra-terrestrial origin and the military are hauling it in, dissecting it and retro-engineering it... it still wouldn't be appropriate for the military to end up being more transparent about it following this as it would effectively be giving up state and military secrets to rival nations just like any secret new terrestrial tech is kept secret also.

The scale of global conspiracy this requires is just... more mind boggling than even aliens visiting. Plus, if aliens were coming to Earth (putting aside the tech they'd need to have but yet would still need to be weak enough to be easily taken down by primitive Earth tech) then the aliens would need to effectively be in on it, okay with having their people and ships captured and researched. Seems more likely that if they were being routinely salvaged and dissected the response would be

There's a conspiracy in the US about people being buried in the ground to prevent earthquakes, built purely on hearsay, but I don't see the Senate taking that one seriously.
