Mixture of emotions on this one, but overall it's a smile.

When you order food off Deliveroo, one of their security measures is a code that you have to give to the guy who turns up to ensure you're actually the one who ordered it. This is sensible. What's perhaps less sensible, and that you begin to notice if you order regularly enough, is that they seem to assign a single code to your account so you have the same one every time. I know this mainly, as whenever my partner orders food and I am inevitably sent to meet the driver, the code is always 69. Not one single driver has yet gone "NICE", or even visibly smirked. I will concede that I am more likely to say "six nine" rather than going full Bill & Ted, but still.

That’s disappointing … but it’ll defo land at some point. Me and one of my sons always acknowledge it on a number plate with some Beavis and Butthead sniggers. Childish as

I wouldn’t be surprised if the drivers are just too scared of getting a bad rating.

That video doing the rounds on social media of one of the EDL "protestors" getting hit in the nuggets with a brick thrown by one of his knuckle-dragging pals.

Channel 4 are shoehorning references to the Paralympics into all their normal schedule programme descriptions.

Turned an unused area of the garden where a shed used to be, then rubbish where all the building work went on, into a nice play area for the little un.

-Got it all cleared including a bush that turned into a tree.
-Took probably half a ton of crap dirt away.
                            -Flattened it all off.
-Repaired the fence buy getting posts in either side and a new panel, had to dig out 4ft of concrete on 1 side which took most of a day.
                            -Flattened the area again.
-Created a separation barrier with a 100x100 post, this slotted in lovely with no cuts.
-Pinned that in using 1m lengths of threaded rod so it can’t rock.
                            -Lined the area.
-Barked it all off using hard wood chipping, this stuff looks great down.
-Repaired the guttering next to the area.
-And finally on Saturday got the big climbing frame up for her.

Honestly, the look on her face as she came home and it was ready to play on, for me? For me daddy? Absolutely worth it as a parent.

Absolutely, her little face just astounded at this big jungle gym climbing frame just appearing from no where will stay with me forever.

Now we have to deal with the rod for our own backs as she runs to the back door and goes “weeeeeeeeeeeee” until we let her out
