But the problem is that the data isn't really very useful. MPs are sometimes in the commons, sometimes meeting with constituents, sometimes trying to make things better for their community. They take part in local events and stuff, and those things are important. If the data shows many MPs only spend half the days of the year in the Commons, people will jump on that, but it's really not what they think it is. Some of those dedicated MPs will spend less time there and more time at surgeries at their home base, meeting with small business owners, representatives of charities, things like that.
Like I said this because I like my local MP, but I'm sure his numbers will be quite low, because I've seen him attending all sorts of city events and functions, and he has an office where you can go meet him on certain days of the week.

Mogg is like one of those people who turns up the earliest and leaves the latest, but doesn't actually do anything remotely meaningful while they're there - he mostly just sits around on the benches during quiet times saying nonsense about his nanny, then wanders around leaving snotty notes on empty desks.

Britons not bitterly polarised over trans equality, research finds | Transgender | The Guardian
One of the most in-depth UK studies into public opinion on trans equality has found that the general public are not polarised on the issue with 1 in 4 knowing someone who identifies as transgender and the majority of people supporting education in schools on the matter. Those surveyed did not take huge interest in covered stories such as JK Rowling's comments with the only commonly held stance being that trans women should not compete in professional sport with cis women.
