The no confidence vote today is massively damaging to the Tories as it will fail but it will show them up as a shower of two faced bastards.

Sunak the front runner? I cant think of anything more tone death than than Tories getting behind someone who says their running on fiscal responsibility who was a few months ago at the center of very public Tax dodging scheme. I mean, from Sunak this answer highlights exactly why they're dead with him in charge:

To be honest, a lot of it feels like the many of the other options are 'too Johnson' so when lining up the likely front runners he may be the only way they keep their cabinet roles

It shows they don't have a clue, why back someone who is clearly marked, the Police fines, the tax dodging and non Dom stuff is going to be in the back of everyone minds, How the hell can he preach financial restraint and responsibility to the UK when hes been seen rigging the system hes supposed to be upholding.

Rumors are already circulating about Johnson calling in in favors to torpedo him. he could really mess with the system if he has a bombshell to drop, wait for Sunak to be a inch from victory then drop a story on him forcing him to back out, you then have to restart the leadership bid keeping Johnson in position for longer or overturning his resignation altogether.

And whilst Mordaunt commands the favour of the Tory membership, Sunak has that of the MP endorsements

I'd be curious how that lists of endorsements holds if it ends up being Sunak vs Mordaunt as the Johnson loyalists list is split several ways so given the push to go against Sunak I'd imagine that gap could narrow very fast shortly

Johnstone had such a great schtick going with everyone calling him Boris, like he's a mate, that cheeky mop of unkempt hair, ill-fitting Benny Hill suit and disarming foppish stammering.

And out of that pile of dung the wiser choice looking at how the people would probably vote would not be Sunak... so I sincerely hope he gets the nod by the party, or Murdoch Inc... I really don't want them going into an election with anyone that isn't tainted by the constant lies.

I'd much rather they continue making the web of deceit worse so that they've no way out when the bubble finally bursts.
