It's bonkers that they're standing there saying "I will fix this country's problems" when they're the perpetrators of them!

"I vow to resolve the issue of the massive poo stains that this carpet now faces."

Wow this is massive he's seen that his austerity bull**** is not working anymore so has pretty much changed his entire stance what happened to we need to balance the books and the UK cant afford cuts as it will push up inflation, was that all a load of twaddle designed to show the torys how he can keep ripping off the UK.

It feels like the Tory's seem to have come to the realisation that if they try to cut any deeper their gonna have a massive rebellion we are already seeing a rise in strikes and with massive fuel increases coming before winter their gonna have a lot of angry older core voters to deal with if they do nothing too.

None of them have even the faintest flicker of knowledge about living on the breadline, in a council estate. Or working a full time job and still being poor. These concepts are so unknown to them they can't even begin to think of a way to fix it.
They don't want to fix it for ordinary people. They believe that we live in a meritocracy and people get what they merit, despite the fact that these two, for example, that their station in life has not been garnered from their merit, but from massive privilege. Sunak went to a 45k a year private school and was the son of a pharmacist and a GP, so has never struggled for money or food and neither has Liz Truss, who as the daughter of a Professor of Mathematics, did well at school and got into Oxford and rode that old school tie into cosy jobs at Shell and Cable & Wireless.

And this is why Sunak, of all people, the son of immigrants and married to an immigrant, is happy to say he's wiling to slam the door on immigrants because he has no shame, no experience and no empathy for people leaving warzones and economic and literal dustbowls, seeking a living and a life of insecure work and zero-hours contracts on less than minimum wage and a lifetime of austerity measures.

And he can say this, all whilst wearing Prada shoes and a bespoke suit, because he is absolute scum.

A top-class education can teach you most things, but it can't teach you emotional intelligence and empathy. When a Conservative MP says about their sympathy for "hard-working families" (or appropriate soundbite), their hollow expression and blank eyes says it all.

They're probably wondering if the new kitchen they got for their second home can be claimed on expenses because ultimately their wellbeing is the country's wellbeing, right?

Final nail in Labours coffin for me, who the hell is standing up for workers rights in the UK because its not Labour or the Torys at the moment, with all the stuff coming out about the sabotage from within the Labour party it really dose feel like we have hard right and harder right at the moment.

Absolutely ridiculous. The labour party was founded and is still funded BY the ****ing Unions! If you don't stand with them you don't stand for anything. And you risk losing your union backing. What a stupid bastard!

Starmer is a flatulent anus of a man.

Contrast to Andy Burnham, who has brought the bus network in Manchester under public control, even fighting through the courts to make sure it happens. So that the city provides a service, rather than creaming profits off the money-spinning routes. I have yet to see any good arguments for the privatisation of infrastructure and services. It does not work. The second you bring the profit motive in, then it ceases to become a service. Competition is an illusion, because no bus company wants to run the routes that require a subsidy from the profitable routes. The illusion of competition is clear in the rail network, the water infrastructure, and the power infrastructure. It’s a massive lie, and the sooner politicians grow some balls and challenge this orthodoxy, the better.

Starmer is not the man to make that happen. He shows a heavy hand in the wrong areas.
