Cutting out the two packs of biscuits I used to buy most weeks is what has kept my weekly food shopping cost unchanged. But whilst I could do with losing half a stone there something very depressing about healthily nibbling on a carrot or stick of celery instead of having a chocolate digestive biscuit to dunk in your tea or coffee.

That would really depress me too as celery makes my face swell up that and it tastes bloody disgusting when you compare it to a chocy biccy

Whenever i go out now I don’t even bother with fizzy, they don’t stock “full fat”, never do “zero” varieties so that leaves “diet” which tastes disgusting, so I don’t even bother.

Because people can't be trusted with non-Diet. Cider though, cheap huge bottles, have at it!

One of the headlines read “public being used as interest free credit” and was spot on for once. It’s stealing out of peoples accounts for energy they aren’t using to make the energy firms look better on paper. Probably to increase stock shares for an eventual sale most likely.

The treasury is quite happy with all the tax they're collecting from the expensive fuel.
