Isn't that the flaw with the approach? That the actually providers are barely getting by and the actual record profit making giants are the real culprits. 1m people refusing to pay is a dent and bad for the immediately providers but it's not much of a noticeable blip for the main culprits who operate internationally and will still be bank rolling billions so are unlikely to even notice. To us it's a big statement but to them its nothing as the real impact isn't directly on them.

Are the providers loosing out yes if they aren't linked to a big energy company, but no if their like EDF or British Gas/Centrica and are providers and suppliersLast edited by Lebowski; 12-08-2022, 13:43.

Petrol seems to be in a slow fall even if it's not by the amount the RAC says it should be. Having peaked at 189.9 the cheapest nearby price to me now is 166.9
With what's coming up we've been looking at how we might be able to shore things up and cut unnecessary use and to dovetail back into the forums primary focus, gaming has been a key area I've been looking at.
I can play 99% of the PS5's games coming out or that I'd revisit via my PC or XSX but thanks to the stock shortages I can currently get at a minimum 90% of what I paid for the system back on it via trade. Likewise, it's nice catching up with titles at work but the Win3 isn't really essential with visually heavy stuff being played on PC and emulators not really needing it or holding interest either. I can easily get enough for that and be in pocket buying a new Steam Deck in the new year too. With accessories it would mean cutting energy use on these, missing pretty much God of War Ragnarok in the short-mid term and having more money to lean on in the winter if bills go crazy - all whilst being able to get them back with pretty much zero money lost down the line if I chose to.
Also been looking at the Quest 2. More tricky as it's a more unique device but weighing against it is that the current price hike by £100 has improved its value and in 2023 there's a solid chance that PSVR2 will be on the way, maybe even Quest 3 so I do the same with this and get what I can before opting to upgrade for one of them next year?

Do they know something, do you think? Are prices about to come down?
