I'm curious as to how her testimony comes across. I don't doubt bad stuff from both sides but with Depp I feel the burden for her is to prove the difference between him hitting her and her getting hit by him out of self defence or similar. Regardless of gender, if someone was throwing glass bottles at me, kicking me in the face and hitting me for years I imagine I'd lamp them at some point too From a public perception point it's too easy to say 'why didn't they just leave?' but if it were that easy in practice domestic abuse wouldn't really exist, the issue is that for those involved it's never a simple situation and there can be a lot factored in psychologically as well which is completely lost when instances are reported on by rags like The Sun. What's definitely missing at the moment is evidence or a sense that if Depp inflicted anything on Heard that it was done so maliciously or with intent which is something I definitely don't feel the other way round.

Depps main defence, and something his sister will take the stand about, is that they had an abusive mother and Depp never lashed out or defended himself, he only hid. So they're asking why Depp would lash out in this relationship.

He's been cool as a cucumber through what I think has been 20hrs of stand so far, handled it really well. Her lawyer hasn't been able to get a rise or an incriminating answer from him yet and it was telling how much effort was put into trying to get Depp to give answers relating to his physical differences to her through being a male to imply again that a woman can't physically abuse a larger male.

There is some narcissistic elements in it as well how she vocally and probably genuinely feels everything is his fault, his problem and she can't do no wrong.

He’s into anything like that, he was a European Karate champion and competed in the world championships twice, used to train special forces in unarmed combat as well, its not kiddy oh look i have a knife. She would get into his locker and creep around the house with them at night, she was absolutely f****** nuts, no idea what kicked her off she was great when they first got married but after about 2 years some really odd behaviour started to come out then that was the final straw.

I saw her lawyers opening statement and she was just waffling on. Its deeply apparent that she has no cards to play and her only defence is that Depp weighs more.
Even the judge looked bored.

Halfway through the vid, with about 3h 30m left to play, is the tape of Depp and Heard arguing about him wanting to call it a day. I cannot imagine hearing that publicly and having no reaction, it's awkward just to listen to.

There is also the video Amber Heard secretly filmed of Depps alleged assault. It shows Depp storming around the kitchen, slamming doors, pouring a huge glass of wine and walking away. I mean he doesn't come within 50ft of Heard.

When she has very little evidence and has lionel hutz representing her, I don't think she's got a chance.
I don't know all the fact presented to the Jury, but I can only imagine they are in a persistent frown.

Absolutely, the stuff coming out of the court seems one sided in supporting Depp but only because of the utter vacuum of things supporting her side. Even the long list of evidence her team submitted yesterday was piece after piece where she came across worse. I think we're switching back to other witnesses for the rest of Week 3 now.

Having watched some of the Depp trial and listened to the recordings it's clear to me that Depp has trouble communicating his emotions and he ends up engaging with Amber much more than most would.
There are times in the recordings were most would say '**** you, get out the way I'm leaving!', But Depp only tries to talk her around; it leads to the conversation going in circles. Heard feeds off that. Its everything she wants and she found someone to feed on. Like an emotional vampire.
I feel bad for him.
