Johnson waiting it out till Sunak is gone then coming back is fine, it will just ensure the Tories stay frozen out even longer. He couldn't keep **** together for two years with an 80 seat majority. After two more years of Tory leadership, a GE, then five years of trying to salvage the party's remains... he doesn't come close to having what it takes to pull that off and once the Tories fall out of power I can imagine there will eventually be a very strong drive to drive out his ilk like poison from a wound to try and reset things.

How does anything surprise you at this point?

It's impossible to remove corruption from the Conservative Party as it is the entire basis of their existence. Their party funding structure is an enormous conflict of interest where corporations (and their owners) effectively pay for a puppet government to do what they want. Policies are based on what the donors want above all else. Can you find a single person - an ordinary person on the street - who wants no windfall taxes on energy companies, uncapped banker bonuses? It is completely corrupt, rotten to the core.

Prediction: “Boris” has alienated most of his supporters in the parliamentary Tory party. He’ll get booted out of the party due the ongoing investigations into so-called Partygate, which no current Tory MPs publicly willing to protect him. As revenge, “Boris” will start up his own right-wing populist party, which will cannibalise the declining Tory vote even further.

Dishi Rishi Is in!
I made a gif of those last, painful, robotic moments:
I wonder, if to save time, he hands in both his application to be leader and his resignation letter for a month's time?
Fourth unelected leader since 2016! Wooo, gooooo Democracy!Last edited by QualityChimp; 24-10-2022, 15:59.
