These companies hold regional monopolies, meaning there’s zero incentive for competitive pricing. They’ve milked the cash for decades, filling their own pockets and those of parasitic shareholders, whilst overseeing chronic underinvestment in infrastructure that they promised to sort out.

Now we face two options: continue to pumps millions of gallons of turds and johnnies into our waterways, or pay these scumbags to do a job that they’ve already taken the money to do, and failed to be arsed to do it.

Yet all completely legal, how can you get the public to get onside when the people benefiting from this system control our news and press and goverment and are constantly vilifying anyone wanting to change the system.

Their are places for Private run company's but basic infrastructure isn't one of them, imagine what they could do if we didn't have to give all the money each region collects to private individuals but instead ran the service so that all the money it brings in goes towards the wages and infrastructure.

Well, I hope that a future non-Tory government would restore the rights of EU/EEA citizens to vote, a right which was recently stolen off them.

Seems that according to the media, Gammon bellend Starmer has already rejected the idea of returning EU citizens their voting rights the Tories stole from them. Because Labour are basically the same sort of xenophobic scum as the Tories. Hence why I’ll never vote for either of them.
