I remember briefly toying with the idea of buying just 2-3 Bitcoins when there was a load of fuss about it approaching the $100 dollar mark but I'm an eternal cautionist so anticipating the 'inevitable' collapse of something that is just thin air I didn't bother. *sigh*

JD Vance: "And the next minute he's up there throwing out Nazi salutes, thinking he's the guy in charge...!"
Trump: "Is that right Elon? Are you making trouble again?"
Trump: "Down Elon! Bad Elon!"
Trump: "Elon's been a little tetchy of late, if I'm being honest I think all the attention has been a bit much for him. Why don't you boys make up and be friends?"
Trump: "How about a hug JD? I'll give you the best hug, the best"
JD Vance: "No!... Only if I'm still more in charge than him!"

He doesn't need an amendment, there are other ways. The 22nd amendment states you can only be elected to President for two terms, but there are other ways of becoming president. Trump could run as the vice president and the president then resign, making him president again, or just be a president by proxy by having a patsy.
A constitutional amendment isn't likely to get through given it needs the approval of 38 out of 50 states.Last edited by MartyG; 24-01-2025, 10:50.
