A Russian Su-27 collided with an American MQ-9 drone over the Black Sea when the drone was in international airspace, according to U.S. European Command. The Russian plane flew in front of the drone and dumped fuel on it prior to the collision, in which the Su-27 clipped the propeller's drone. The drone crashed in the Black Sea, the Su-27 returned in a base in Crimea with unknown damage.
This is not the first time Russian (and Chinese) aircrafts pull stunts around NATO planes while flying in international space.

See what I said earlier in the thread. This has happened over the North Sea, uninterrupted, for decades. Those planes at various northern-UK airbases aren't always taking off just for practice sorties.

Probing flights are common even since the cold war. However during those interceptions everyone kept their flight path, now Russian and Chinese planes are doing aerobatic maneuvres around slower planes.

All idiots, never mind I`m sure America can cut more essential services to cover the cost.

Russia are absolutely begging for the US to put boots on ground at this stage in Ukraine, most likely so they can then draw China into the fray as well.

As long as the world supplies Ukraine with tanks and arms that far exceed anything Russia has the US or NATO don't have to join.

Currently Russia has lost 160000 troops. 3X more than Vietnam!

Well, yeah, unless you count Ukranian losses. We might be denigrating Russia's strategies but a bullet is still a bullet, and in a war of attrition Russia will win just because of manpower. I'd say the upcoming spring will be a pivotal point in the war, it's make or break for both sides.

That's the thing. I think we're only going to see change in the UK if politicians are personally afraid of the public's actions if they continue to do corrupt things. That doesn't mean violence necessarily, it can mean they're likely to lose their power or wealth. But it does need to happen.

Vague things like the future of the country are pointless to them. It has to be that very personal fear that you feel when you're up for redundancy, or walking a dangerous street at night.

When things turn bad in the UK with protests they are dealt with very swiftly and very harshly by comparison to how the french treat its citizens. Take the people involved in the Bradford race riots they where given extremely harsh Sentences to make an example of them and to act as a warning to others. the same harsh Sentences where handed to people in the 2011 riots, being their and stealing a £3.00 bottle of water 6 months in prison, not being their are talking about it on facebook 4 years

2011 riots

Bradford riots
People from Bradford reflect on scenes 20 years ago that affected a generation of the city's young.

Well, the French did have a pretty famous spell of chopping the heads off the ruling elite when they were unhappy, so it's not surprising they love a good riot now. Having lived in France and experienced their strike/protest-happy nature first-hand, they tend not to **** about when it comes to this sort of thing. That said, they do tend to go on strike at the drop of a hat.

Twitter has just turned off 2-factor authentication because they've just put the feature behind a paywall.

It's annoying for loads of reasons, but I hate the way the email makes out like it's my decision and it's easy to resolve:
You've turned off two-factor authentication for QualityChimp
This means you’ll no longer have this added protection when you log in to Twitter. Your account will be more vulnerable to compromise. You can turn on two-factor authentication any time in the Account > Security section of your Twitter settings.

So you go there and when you select text confirmation, it says:
Choose a different verification method
This two-factor authentication method is only available to Twitter Blue subscribers. Please select a different method. Learn more about two-factor authentication.

So I try the app method and it doesn't recognise my password at the first step.

I'm literally just using Twitter to share PS+ screenshots these days, but that doesn't change the fact Musk is a complete penis.
