Very true.
First world problems grumbling about overpriced mass produced junk food. (There's always good quality local junk food anyway!)
However, whether some of the increases I have pointed (and many others I haven't) are justified or not, they don't feel justified to me. I've voted with my wallet for many years now, and for a variety of reasons. Just more to add to the 'no' pile.
(Plus, and this is example specific, but I'll never shed a tear for PepsiCo, Unilever or Nestle.)

Here's one - US-to-UK postal costs on eBay.
I'm sure it hasn't escaped the notice of others, but the postage cost of any item from the US, now, seems to start at around £30; i.e. £30 is the lowest of the low US postage prices, even if you're ordering a trading card, are £30.
Got to assume that's a Brexit/economic issues caused by Brexit thing. But it just makes ordering anything from the US (that isn't very expensive) not worthwhile.

Out of all the countries in the world, America is the last place I want to buy anything from. Their postage costs are insane (and have indeed doubled in recent years), but by far the worst thing is convincing an American to post something overseas. The vast majority of ones that come up on eBay at all is when they’re being sent through the global shipping program (so they don’t really have to handle it themselves). Try asking a US seller to post overseas and you might as well be asking them to personally send it to the moon. I would say 90% won’t even consider it, almost all of the rest will insist on using some ridiculously expensive courier and will often panic and change their mind because they think it will screw up their taxes or something.
I have to buy a lot of car parts from abroad and it is quite literally easier to buy from Iran than the USA (actually it was really easy).

I had one of those days yesterday. It started when I realised the clocks changed meaning I would have one less hour a day with my lady friend who lives in a whole different time zone and we have so little available contact as it is. Wasn’t feeling great. Tested positive for covid. Then my phone died. Completely. Just shut off and it’s dead. Then to add insult to all that injury, I managed to break my Masterpiece Sunstreaker Transformer. I wonder why it sometimes feels like these things come in a run.
