Rumours of a big announcement in UK politics later today.

    Cabinet is at 4.15pm.
Cameron is cutting short trip to Albania so he can be there.
Shapps is delaying a trip abroad, which doesn't sound routine.
Number 10 has gone vague with the press secretary not ruling out a general election.
PM and Dowden said to have spent much of yesterday locked in meetings.
Sunak laughed, but didn't deny calling an GE when asked about it at PMQs.

Them ****ers better not be doing a summer election while I'm away, maybe they have worked that if they do a summer election and have it in the early weeks of the summer holidays most people are away, and they will get a record low turnout.

No campaign funds to the necessary level, no flights taking off, half of candidates not selected, against Tory MP wishes... So of course it's July

        What a moron

What’s the point, if they loose they will just form a coalition, switch sides, stay in power anyway. It’s the same s**t time and time again.

Its time for a new system with all the old mould bleached away.

China edges closer and closer to Taiwan. They are now labelling Taiwan as “separatists”.

Not true. Only chance of that happening is if we get a hung parliament.

The last coalition Government (Tory/Lib-Dem) that we had not so long ago didn't work out to the point of permanently damaging the Lib-Dems and I doubt anybody wants that again, never mind one lead by the Tories.

They're toast this time. They have to be. If not, this country is finished.

There all still there? Even Cameron & Trust are back in positions and the limelight, and Blair. None of it ever changes, Farrage slunk off the the states for a bit then slithered back to make waves wherever he could

The entire political system of the UK is an utter failure and a farce, it’s done, tare it down.

We could put a monkey flinging its own s**t at a random “things to get done” board, and it would make more correct decisions than all the mp’s combined, plus the monkey wont embezzle and steal either.

Yeah, I'm already hearing from people "tHeY'rE aLl ThE sAmE!"

Which is fine, if you think that, but you could go with the Tories, who have actually PROVED they're lawbreakers, liars, corrupt, criminals, sex-pests, expenses-fiddling and tax-dodgers, or try a different party that may prove you right or could actually be different and hold themselves up to scrutiny better.

They could be just as bad, but why not take a chance, eh?

Cameron isn't lasting much longer as Foreign Secretary and Brexit will forever taint him. Liz Truss has had to try and reinvent herself on the right-wing/neo-con fringes in America because her short Premiership was the worst in the modern-era, and she's by no means guaranteed to keep her MP seat (if the news is to be believed) - it's almost like she might have massively pissed off her constituents in Norfolk by totally f--k--g their mortgages. Who knew?

Blair will forever be tainted with the Iraq War but that conveniently obscures that fact that, y'know, working people actually had disposable income during his Premiership and could actually afford to get by and/or even aspire to successful business ownership and/or home ownership and could rely on working public services. New Labour back then was never as bad as the last fourteen years have been and anybody saying otherwise is simply lying.

Also worth pointing out that Farage has tried, what, seven or eight times to become an MP? The fact that he STILL hasn't managed it even in this climate and given his legacy with Brexit, and looks like he *might* only just manage it by way of twerking for the Conservatives that he left in the first place to form UKIP, should say something.

Look, I'm not disagreeing with you about the state of our politics. I've called for PR to replace FPTP voting time and again, and still do. But I stand by what I've said - The Tories need serious f--k--g off now. Once they're gone, we can go from there. That isn't much, I know, but it's definitely better than another five years of this.

Hasn't stopped him continuing to twerk for his former Tory colleagues though. It's almost like he knows that there is a massive opportunity there once they almost certainly become opposition after the GE.

Apparently now 25% of votes are postal with most respondees doing so within 48hrs of recieving their ballot. On average it means Sunak has less than 4 weeks to convince many voters. Genius

I can't wait for everyone to stop talking about and to this self-serving penis.
He's never been successful as a politician, just ruffles enough feathers of those who can make a difference.

My mate summarised it perfectly by saying he prefers to be out of the tent, pissing in.
