Labour has committed to freezing NI and Income Tax thresholds till 2028/2029. The tax rise would raise a small figure helping to fund their plans over the coming years via increased earnings rather than applying an outright rise, it would also be a smaller increase of tax across the years than the Tories have implemented during their tenure.

But the fact that 72 people were killed in their own homes and then epically failed by their Tory constituency and the Tory Government, along with hundreds more who lost everything and still haven't been remunerated just because they weren't affluent and white, is what I'm choosing to remember today.
