My Father-in-Laws Doctor was Harold Shipman, he said he was always a pleasure to deal with but is thankful as **** he never registered my missus there

I remember that one, that was class too!

These things had gone from my mind and its nice being reminded of them and many others in this thread, sometimes it felt like near all my time was taken separating Rep and Camps from arguing or moderating Snowman's posts but there was a lot more to it than that as I now realise

What really got me into importing was going to one of the shops off Oxford Street and seeing an Street Fighter 2 on a SNES for the first time, it was just unreal that a arcade game like that was on a home console and it looked staggering! I paid silly money for an imported version and the console to play it on. And that trend carried on for years after with all console launches, I spent lots of cash but I don't regret a moment of it, even some of the crap I bought like The Bouncer and Dynamite Deku. I remember being with Julian (AlphaCentauri) on the day that CEX got Killer Instinct on the SNES, we got in my car and burned down to Harrow CEX and I paid extortionate money for it. I was crap, always a SF guy, but it was fun watching him murder it. Same story with Ridge Racer on the Playstation, that was f*cking unreal at the time and again with Ridge 5. Great times when multiplayer gaming meant being IN THE SAME ROOM as other people, loads of Doom MP and I remember spending ages playing a game on the Gamecube called Forsaken which was a space game a bit like Descent and a real cool MP game.

Yep, the best type of gaming. 10 people crowded round a Saturn Bomberman.

Is there anywhere online I can find the gif? Let me know and I'll sort you out.

Wow, i used to be a regular on ntsc-uk some very long time ago. Went to live in Canada about 12 or 13 years ago and met up with a guy from here, Nick (I can't remember his forum username) and we became good friends out there although unfortunately we have lost touch since I came back to the UK a year later. Literally just signed back up to the forums today as I was reminiscing about the past and stumbled on this thread - what's weird is that I still remember a lot of the usernames of the people that have posted here!

when registering I thought it was odd my username was available but just realised I used to use a different one on here (davesol) which explains it!!
