The last 7 results have been something like 3 wins, 2 losses and 2 draws. Not fine as it were. But decent enough.

Keane really needs to step up now and begin to perform, he has been very poor so far. I also agree Aurelio could be the bigger loss because Dossena just looks absolutely out of his depth currently. Lets hope Liverpool can go on a bit of a run now, I think now until Christmas is pretty much an easy run for us with West Ham, Blackburn and Hull all coming before Arsenal on the 21st.

Hopefully 3 wins and Torres returns for a nice goalscoring victory against Arsenal.

Agreed. However, I hope we're in the market for a decent LB in January. The only good thing I've seen from Dossena is his cross. Aurelio is a bit hit and miss for me. More miss I think. Twice as good as Dossena, but that ain't saying much.

Man City game aside, Fabio is having a good season. 3 assists from left back is more than respectable and his dead ball deliveries and crossing is normally really good. The problem is you just can't keep the guy fit for long stretches, he doesn't seem to be able to play more than 6 or 7 games in a row without getting injured.

I am waiting for Insua. I hope we get a few players coming through from the reserves this year.

Watched the first 20 minutes or so. Liverpool same old story, lots of domination and no end product. Benayoun is ****, he needs sold right now.

After 20 or so minutes my Setanta has stopped working. Anybody else have that problem?

Same here. A simple reset sorted the problem.

Keane off again. Everytime I watch Liverpool he gets subbed. Does he ever finish games?

It was woeful stuff. Gerrard was absolute pants. I feel sorry for Babel. He's a talent that deserves more than coming on for last 15mins or so. You just knew it was going to end like this tonight. Well done to Whammers, though. They made it exceedingly difficult.

You lot really missed Torres tonight - aside from Gerrard, he is the one player who can make the difference in such tight games.

Of course. He was the difference last season and this season when he has been available, more often than not, he's got us out the ****. Sooner he's back, the better. I think Gerrard tends to perform better when he's got Torres in front of him.

Failed to capitalise on Chelsea losing again, Torres isn't going to be properly match fit until nearly Xmas by the looks of it the others really need to step up to the plate.

Frustrating, but, we are top of the league

Keane's astonishment that he is being substituted whenever he plays is becoming increasingly frustrating, as are his performances. He really doesn't seem to be able to fit into the system Liverpool employ.

In every game I've seen so far this season he has deserved to be taken off. Another game where Liverpool lacked any real imagination to beat a team that just sit back and hang on at Anfield. I will also restate my opinion that Benayoun is absolute ****, to think he was threatening to quit if he didn't start regularly.

To be honest the signing of Keane is looking a little strange now.

Twenty million pounds is a hell of a lot of money for a player that doesn't really fit into the team whether key players are fit or not.

With Torres out he can't play the lone striker role. He neither has the strength or the pace.

When Torres is fit Rafa likes to keep Gerrard supporting and Keane gets pushed out wide. This doesn't suit him either. The last couple of years Spurs occasionaly played 4-5-1 with Keane on the left of the five and it never worked.

I'd like to see Babylon. Before he decides he's pissing off.

Torres has made Kotaku page for being "addicted to Playstation". You better have someone massaging that leg while you're on Team Slayer!

Apparently his favourite games to play are PES2009, GTAIV and Halo3 on his 360.
