Without Alonso this year Liverpool have looked so poor. So far he has been our most important player, I think. Without Torres for half the season we've managed to get to where we are right now. Every performance without Alonso has led to us looking like a team without any ideas, he really is the lynch pin in the middle of the park when Gerrard is played up top beside Torres.


Also, I dont see what you mean about Rafa supergoal? He has just said United aren't untouchable, which is obviously true considering we beat them at Anfield.

Radio City have said that Alonso is injured. I agree our ability to hold the ball in midfield is now greatly reduced as I just don't see Masch and/or Lucas doing what the pass master does
