After a horrible day yesterday - see the Michael Jackson thread - Liverpool's win over Manchester United has made my day.

I didn't watch the match but I'll certainly be tuning into Match of the Day later this evening.

And the title race continues...

I'm very happy to say I was wrong. Excellent performance. Lucas really stepped up to the plate and put a lot of the work in that was required today. Had a few shakey moments during the early part of the second half.

I'm quite upset I missed the last 20-25 minutes, had football myself. I've seen both of the goals though, were excellent. Amazing performances all round this week.

Andy Jacobs on TalkSport is a right bitter sad old git. He constantly jibes at Liverpool. On today's show they are talking about the gaffer signing on for 5 years which was stated as making all the Liverpool fans happy, only for him to say, "and the man u fans even happier".

Typical the lucky mancs have it laid out on a plate for them this year. Chelsea was probably the 1 team out of the lot I didn't want us to draw, was hoping for Bayern. But oh well. Hopefully UEFA will sort out the second leg date ASAP and we can concentrate on doing the business this time around after last year's heartbreak.
