We had our squeeky bum time around xmas. It's tough being top, I felt it in that brief spell. It's yours to throw away still. Just hope we can keep on winning.

Yeah seems like when ever a teams been top with a bit of a lead through out the season H,they for what ever reason have not been able to maintain there lead and have dropped silly points to allow others who have kept on winning to catch up.

Yep i agree still ours to loose, but no one can deny its not been one of the best Prmiership races for a good while.

His movement was invaluable though. The Villa centre-backs paid him way too much attention and it just left Gerrard in space time and time again

Wow.

What did everybody think of Riera's goal?

It was absolutely spectacular. I loved how as soon as he kicked (volleyed) the ball, he was taken down by the player beside him and the ball was midway through the air and ready to go into the back of the net.

I thought it was superb and very classy. Reina jumped a little bit too high in the air after the second goal too!



Well done to Gerrard for grasping his first hat-trick as well.
