Yeh ET, it was a great goal, particularly the way it crashed down in off the crossbar as it went in.

My brother (who's not really into football that much) described it as the "perfect" goal, and when I asked him what he meant by that, he just said it was "perfect in the way a computer or robot would score, kicking the ball from one end of the pitch to the other with maximum efficiency resulting in a goal". Thought that was quite cool

Fantastic stuff again from the boys.
Obviously United are still in a great position and the title is theirs to lose, but we're coming up to April and we've still got more than a decent chance of winning this thing if we keep this form up...probably would've taken that if it was offered to us in August.

Good to see Riera back on form after 5 or 6 weeks of pretty dodgy performances. Won the free kick for the first goal, scored a belter and won a pen. We'll need more goals from him, Benayoun and Kuyt in the run in.

It's going to be quite interesting when the international break is over and the last set of fixtures are reversed - we go to Fulham and Man Utd host Villa. Hopefully a break is just what O'Neill's team need to get their groove back

It'll be a tough game at Fulham, but if we can get a victory the psychological pressue of being back in second could affect Man Utd when they play Villa.

I think both Liverpool and Man Utd will win their next games, and the crunch matches for both teams will be against Arsenal. The Man City game could be interesting for Utd, but likewise I think our home game against Blackburn could be our undoing - we haven't been good this season against teams who sit back and defend (and Blackburn will do exactly that) and despite the amazing performances recently, it has been against sides and in situations where the game is very open, suiting the pace of Torres and Gerrard.

The title is still very much in Utd's hands, but my goodness we are in a much better position than seasons past and as we've all seen before, leads far bigger than Utd's have been whittled down. Come on!

Liverpool win it in stoppage time, sounds like they deserved it anyway as they hit the woodwork around four times.

Hammers home the point that we must win tomorrow I guess.

Nice one. Keep it up, lads!

All we can do is keep winning.

Yep, and Villa have got to win a game sometime, fingers crossed for tomorrow.

As much as i respect liverpool for overcoming whatever kind of black magic Roy Hodgeson seemed to have been employing to protect his goal from them yesterday I think we will be aston villa easily tomorrow.

I feel bad for villa to be honest, their lucky we dont have Rooney as I think hedcompletely destroy their defence the way hes been playing the last few games, but we will still win easy anyway.

Liverpool arent fizzeling out though unlike over the last 3 or 4 seasons, which as a non too hateful Man U fan i can say im impressed with.

Beneyoun is a great player and should always play for you lot from the start IMO as hes a hard worker, Reira seems pretty vital right now too.

We fizzled out in the first six weeks of 2009, now someone's topped up the Soda Stream gas we're fizzing everywhere lol

Fully expect Man U to win today, but we can but hope eh.

I'm fairly certain we've actually been the strongest finishers in the league over the last few seasons.

I'm here though, nothing really to report, mate. We are still second, you lot are still top with game in hand. Several games to go. We need to keep winning and hope you slip up.

I expected you to win today seeing how we tonked them 5-0. You're just glad yous got lucky at the end there in a game you nearly plopped up on

Is tonight a big game or not?

After some disappointing (and it would appear ultimately a little fortunate) performances last night by the PL teams, it seems at least one PL team will have to do well in Europe - will it be us?
It is a very interesting battle:
I think we may miss Monsterano but Lucas has looked significantly more assured. Will Lampard resume hostilities with Xabi? Who is gonna be "wasted" on Gerrard duty? Is Drogba still gonna be fired up? Will anyone outdo Riise? Can Martin take the power of Drogba.
I would like to see us attacking hard and fast - and especially going at Terry. He is on a booking and his absence next week would be awesome for us.
