    Is correct.

I just hope that his trials and tribulations over the last few seasons here make him a stronger and better player for it in the future. He played well tonight.

And did I put any money on it? No, no I didn't.

        Bollocks.

Never put money on a team you want to win. Only makes it twice as bad if a result doesn't go your way.

Sage advice from Smurf. Big game coming this weekend, I dont see how Liverpool can win on current form at all.

The only saving grace is that United's defending has been poor for a while now. Torres needs to be on fire and Gerrard needs to get out of his malaise, its been a long while now. I'm not worried if Lucas or Aquilani starts, as long as they are given freedom to get up and down to influence the play.

When Liverpool have that central midfielder getting forward in support it helps to make the team play the passing game they are capable of. Without it everything is static, that movement is a requirement if we're to beat United. Of course it leaves space on the pitch, but it has to be done.

If Liverpool can win this, they've a good shot at getting fourth. I want them to win for obvious reasons.

I think the way Liverpool would be most likely to beat them is to shell shock them, come out strong and make Man U start on the defensive.

Man U don't deserve to be level. Wasn't a penalty.

                *edit*

Not a good game of football from either side but the lack of drive from Liverpool in that second half should be deeply troubling. At 93 minutes you there were two players hanging at the side of the box waiting for a casual ball from the keeper, they should've had every player in the Man U half.

We did look like the dodgy team we've been this season. The old holding midfielders doing bits and bobs and fouling. Penalty or not, Masch didn't have to foul him. That changed it.

I suppose it was about time we let them win. Give those plazzy mancs something to mince about

Oddly enough I don't actually really care about the defeat. Usually I'd be down for days and keeping a low profile but this season has been a write off from the start I've become numb.
Anyone who beats us can't really claim it as an impressive scalp since we're distinctly average.

That is EXACTLY how I feel about it all. Depressing to the point of soul-crushing, and there's seemingly no light at the end of the tunnel.

Didn't even bother watching MOTD & MOTD 2 this weekend, and haven't done so for months now, tbh.

Same for me too. I used to love the wait for MOTD to come on but why torture myself. I see the manager saying it wasn't a penalty when Valencia went down, but watching it I couldn't argue with the decision really. Benitez is clutching at straws. I just hope he'll be clutching onto his P45 sooner rather than later..

doesn't Rarfa's P45 come with an automatic £16m payoff attached and a job at Real Madrid, if I were him I'd be hoping it came quickly too.

and the same for me too. I haven't watched MOTD since the beginning of December the sooner this season is over the better. Liverpool just never got out of the starting blocks.

Sorry, but unlike other seasons you can't call this a write off because you are not guaranteed in the top four. And if you don't get that then that debt of yours could force you to sell a player.

Haven't got out of bed more like, judging from how some of the players haven't performed.
