Gerrard can consider himself fortunate but Brown has had this sort of thing coming. Anyone who has seen him play will testify that he is a dirty git of the highest order.

More like assault. Brown was lucky to stay on the Pitch. Giggs was lucky his leg was still in one piece.

forgot about that, was fairly comical. Kept expecting the ref to reach for a red but neither him nor the linesman thought there was anything wrong with it.

However to counter it, Lampard got a shocker of a red card that game.

I understand why Gerrard has not been charged retrospectively (ref saw it and dealt with it there and then) but I think the FA should step in. Rio was dealt with like that as the ref said, clearly that had he seen it, it would have been straight red.

Gerrard is being a right arse recently. Sort it out.
