That is one of the odd rules the FA doesn't want to get rid of. Makes about as much sense as UEFA no allowing you to appeal red cards unless it's mistaken identity.

Riera has spoken out pretty negatively about Benitez. Looks like he's on his way out (even if the manager does quit at the end of the season). Fairly bad time to inflame tensions.

According to the papers, Chelsea have targeted Torres. All part of their rebuliding process apparently.

Another one who could do with proving his point on the pitch, he's been lackluster at best this season.

There's a chance of it happening. Drogba's strength and Torres' flair would be pretty scary for defenders. I'm not entirely convinced that's the area that needs work though, especially as there are two youth strikers who are exciting prospects.

However it's obvious Chelsea need to buy in the close season. Expect us to be linked with EVERYONE in the tabloids, no matter how little validity there is to any story.

At least at Chelsea there's a realistic chance of you actually being able to buy the players the tabloids will link you with. Every summer us Spurs fans have to put up with being linked to players we know wouldn't come to us in a million years!

                Predictions for tonight?

If Liverpool don't score first, they're out, otherwise I think they'll get a narrow win.

Fulham are in the process of proving that anything can happen in this one, about to put Juventus out 5-4 on aggregate...

I think Liverpool will make light work of this one, easy 3-0.

They've got the early goal, think they'll walk it now.

And dear god, Five make no attempt to hide their bias do they?

I think most channels support the English team in these games. Calm down, calm down!

Oh yeah, but no one likes Chelsea to be honest. Bunch of whingers.

Who's this 'Lucas' guy that keeps bombing forward making things happen?

Wow, Lucas tonight. Now he does deserve great praise. He clearly has some skills. Maybe he's been lacking the confidence to use it and maybe has been inspired by Aquilani's performance the other night.

The problem with Lucas is he has been told to play as part of a sitting duo. Before he came to Liverpool and was playing with Gremio and Brazilian youth teams he was noted for that kind of stuff. He was a central midfielder who got forward and made stuff happen.

I think I can say I'm the only bastard who has kept the faith with Lucas. He is repaying me now
