See, the thing is you're a Cardiff fan. Your faith, or lack of, means absolutely nothing. We've been through the money spent countless times, you didn't mention the money Spurs spend either (which is quite a fair amount).

And regardless of all of that, you're not a Liverpool fan and you wont even consider different opinions. Which basically means you come here to try and wind other people up.

--- End of Andromeda related guff ---

Positives for this season are Lucas' improvement, Reina signing a new deal and thats probably just about it. There has been a very small glimpse of what Aquilani is about in the last few weeks, so lets hope he can do a bit.

Regardless of investment or not Gerrard should be sold. But its only worth it if the money can be invested in the team for next year. Torres should never be sold to another English club, that'd basically be suicide.

This Summer will very much be one of big changes. Should be interesting to watch, at least.

So if you're a fan of one Club , you can't express views or comment on other Clubs . What next , SONY fans only able to comment in SONY threads , X-Box fans only in X-Box threads .
Spurs have spent a lot , the difference is , is they've been good buys more often than not , and Spurs spending is still less than Liverpool's .

Isn't that just a little bit childish , you're not a Fan , so don't come in my Thread . Have any of you Liverpool fans , expressed Footballing views in other Footballing Team Threads ?.
I wanted Liverpool to win the Title , just that under Rafa you'll never win it imo , What next Mark Lawrenson doesn't know anything about Liverpool , anything about Football , isn't a true Fan , because he' called for Rafa to go

You have no idea what's going on at the club other than the garbage you clearly read in the gutter rags or Sky Sports and 99% percent of that is utter ****e. Yet you just regurigitate it like the majority of the lemmings that follow the charade that is football is these days. You have no idea about what went on last summer, that has the club on it's knees and has pretty much overshadowed since.

Your view about what is happening at my club is as relevant as my views on the best female sanitary towel on the market, and that is all the attention you get from me, you absolute blert.

I said your lack of faith is not concerning Andromeda, it means nothing to nearly everyone who comes to this thread.

I never once said you cant post in here. I'd actively encourage people to post something worthy of discussion.

Essentially everything you posted there is wrong, Team Andromeda.

Really think we should sell Gerrard? Then what about Torres? Seems like some people are over reacting. Maybe with some new owners and better backing all will be different.

I'm only called for Rafa to go , saying that Lucas isn't good enough for Liverpool, Are those really horrible things to say ...What there's no Liverpool fans, now calling for Rafa to go?
Love this everything I said it wrong. Unlike some who made the likes of Spurs, aren’t good enough to Finish above Liverpool, much less 4th ( never want a footballing lecture of that person ever again ,one that clearly knows nothing about Football ) even Rafa guaranteed 4th .
That's what I call, calling it wrong .

Liverpool bench last Sunday , was by Liverpool standards very poor , you're starting 11 not the best in the league , and Liverpool football academy simply failing.

You have no idea what's going on at the club other than the garbage you clearly read in the gutter rags or Sky Sports and 99% percent of that is utter ****e
What is this… You know more than the BBC, SKY , ex players? Only Fans can talk , much less know about Liverpool finical troubles ?.
You don’t have to be a fan, to know that a lot of football Clubs are in debt and in a whole lot of trouble. You aren’t the only set of fans, calling for new Investment, wanting the current owner to sell up , that's the case for a hell of a lot of fans up and down the country .

But You’re welcome to Rafa , Welcome to another long list of poor players , poor buys , another £200 million down the drain , another 3 years of never winning the Premiership and falling ever more behind . Lets Blame the Americans, make out that all non-fans, pundits , footballing journalist are so very wrong. Only this boards true Liverpool fans , can comment, much less know the score

Don't worry lads, there always next season (must get sick of saying that)

So when we came second with the highest runners up points total in PL history did you think Rafa should go then?
Please stop trolling, Ive tried to have a reasoned debate with you previously...there are counter points to Rafa's buys in the past re: finances etc. but you seem to ignore these, is there not a cardiff thread you can post in?

I have two good friends who know what's been happening behind the scenes from their own contacts thank you very much, who've called plenty of things before they've hit the rags and have made me aware before time. You carry on thinking you know things because Sky said it or the BBC printed it. There are a handful of people in the national press who are worthy of the stories they write about my club, but you carry on listening to whoever you want. More fool you. You see, you've really just admitted that the extent of your knowledge is what you're told, and if you know what the media are like, most will call you out for the utter bull****ter you are. Given that your sole purpose on this thread is to stir from a position of no knowledge, I'll carry on sitting back and watch you make a tool of yourself. Carry on!

Wonder whats going on with Rafa at mo...heard on talksport that he was due to have a meeting with the new chairman, but has missed 2 appointments. perhaps he might be about to leave - would this be a bad thing?

                    Comment

One of the meetings was due to take place the week of the Atletico away game, but was canceled because of the long road trip.

The chances of him going look to be increasing all the time, but really the manager situation is almost a non-issue compared to the ownership/financial situation. It doesn't matter who is in charge from next season, they will struggle if nothing changes.

This summer will mark two years since LFC invested any money into the squad...

                        Just noticed this.

As far as I know, Rafa had no control over the youth team and academy when he joined and it wasn't until Rick Parry left, that he started to have any input.

It will obviously take a while for anyone to come through, but there are some decent kids in our youth team at the moment and the club has also added talented young English players in Jonjo Shelvey and Raheem Sterling in recent months.

I thought Gérard Houllier had revamped the academy completely? So much so many other big teams came to check it out like Barcalona. What's happened since that then?

Actually I remember now, it wasn't the academy, it was the Melwood training facility.

So You're going to sit there and make out , that the likes of Alan Hansen, Mark Lawrenson, John Aldridge ECT Don't have any more contacts with the Club, can't possible comment, much less write articles, express views about the Club in the Press (be it good or bad) . No... only your 2 mates, or the Liverpool fans, posting on a Videogaming Forum, know the score, and can possible be allowed to comment on Liverpool FC

That's the score for a lot of People .
How many here, are CEO's of a Football club, own and paid for a Premiership Club out of their own Pockets??? . If not a owner, how can anyone here comment, on any Clubs books/ or possible debts . Until you own and run your Club your self's, you couldn't possible know what its like , other than Gutter talk in the Press.

What next , until you play the game Professionally. One can possibly comment Players performances ECT

Ever since Houllier fell out with...well everybody, but especially a lot of former Red's in the media I don't think there are many (if any at all) who have real links with the footballing side of the club anymore.

AFAIK Rafa is quite picky about journalists he briefs off-record (one of the reasons most of them don't really like him).

From what I know he only speaks to the Liverpool Echo and Tony Barrett & Oliver Kay from The Times.

I think if Liverpool are to re emerge at some point as a major footballing power, they need to get back to basics. A start would be to get a good british manager like Roy Hodgeson, who could probably start turning things around quickly, and start using the system Spurs seem to have favoured in recent years i.e. buying young british talent (actually think they have started to do this, based on them having recently signed a young charlton player ) Might be 3 or so years but they could come through as a real force again, in the right hands.
