Anyway I've seen him play in most matches for liverpool this season and besides the ocasional momemnt when he seems to care that hes in the middle of a premier/champions leauge league football match, he rarely has anything other than an average and uninfluencial game. Calling me a tit in as many different ways as you can wont change that.
It's your opinion. Sound. Just not sure everyone would agree with you that he's ****.

Out of interest, who do you support?

      What if he said Everton?

      Or how about Man Utd?

Nothing, tis his opinion. Maybe he'll say England.

          Heh fair enough.

True, Gerrard's performances for England haven't been the best but that goes for quite a few of the players in the England team. But that's going a bit off topic.

Maybe Rafa thinks that Carling Cup is not very important to him, but I don't think I fully believe in his resting players policy. I mean my pride is at stake here. We was owned by Chelsea and rightfully so, them players apart from Carra were hopeless. Sissoko again, showing us why he is the ****test player in the prem right now. lol

That challenge by Crouch was vicious! Can't blame the guy though, he was obviously frustrated, probably by more than just tonight's game, too.

Prior to captain-deflecto scoring I thought we gave a fairly decent account of ourselves for a 2nd string side. Heads dropped a bit after though.
Not seen any TV footage of the Crouch tackle, didn't look that bad to me though at the time...

He didnt make any contact with the challenge but it was a really bad lunge, cant blame the ref for giving him a red.

yeah, as they say, once both feet are of the floor like that you're not in total control of your body and could land anywhere. Being the size he is, he could of landed in the stands, studs in an old dear's eye.

Maybe a little harsh to get a red.

I agree, I thought we had the better chances up until Lumpard got that first goal. After going one down though I didn't think we'd get back in it, especially after Crouch was sent off. By footie law the decison was correct, but I've seen far worse tackles go unpunished.

really don't think a red was harsh, just pause it at 1:20 and 1:21

Exceedingly harsh. Mikel should have been sent off for having a face like a teddy bear.

I don't think there can be any argument about that being a red card. That's the kind of thing that breaks legs and ends careers

Yeah was worth a red. Seen yellows handed out for worse though.

If crouch had hit him as hard as he can (ie when he shoots), Mikel probably would not have noticed....

Inter eh? Player for player one of the most fearsome squads around. Ripping it up in serie A and Zlatan is playing like a god. I am a little worried but hopefully we get all that luck* we always get in the Champions League and prevail.

*yes, it was luck that made Liverpool beat all those top drawer teams in the past few years. Luck. And don't let facts tell you otherwise!
