Felt game could have gone either way, Kewell wasn't any use I quite agree. It's not season over, but making up half a dozen points on Man U and Arsenal is no mean feat.

Sad to see both our home and away undefeated run gone in space of seven days.

True about Kewel, but he has had a run of very good performances prior to yesterday. I remember screaming out him when he got caught with the ball under his foot as if he had loads of space. He was disposessed and we then conceded a corner... the corner we conceded a goal on

Babel is good, but sometimes he spends too much time on the ball trying to take on a whole defence. He's got a thunder strike though, no doubt about that. I'd defo like to see him have some prem starts though. Give him a chance.

The first half of that is doable, without doubt.

However, if you're trying to tell me that you truly believe in your heart of hearts that we'll take maximum points away to Man Utd, Chelsea & Arsenal, then you're a bare-faced liar.

I'm desperate to believe it as well, but just can't see it - and it hurts like hell to say that.

I don't think that's what he believes will happen. I think he means we need to win them games now or defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance.

Still at least we have the nice new ground to look forward to... =|

I would feel confident (ish) of getting results at Ashburton Grove, Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge in cup games. For some reason in the league, I don't. We played OK yesterday, if Benayoun had stepped out like the other guy on the line it would have just been a mi****. We played well enouh to win and had the chances (from fumbles) to score. Frustrating to see how we have done at home this season. Second half is harder for fixtures no doubt. That stupid result against Marseille has bitten us on the arse. Had we taken that game seriously, we would not have needed a full strength side against them last week. Next round of the CL will be tricky too - for us and our opponents.

Stadium plans have been downgraded slightly yes.

Could be worse, we could support Everton

I thought the main club in the Liverpool area was Transmere Rovers :P

I don't think we'll take maximum points, but I certainly reckon we can grab 6, maybe 7. Our away form is actually pretty good this season and I saw nothing from either Chelsea or Man U at Anfield that should frighten us when we go to their place. Arsenal on the other hand...I'd be happy with a point from the Emirates.

Fact is, if we're ever going to win the Premier League, we need to start beating these guys. The last few seasons we've played well against them (on the whole) but just not managed to inflict that killer blow. Our luck's gotta change soon, surely?!

not so bad considering the design before looked like it could fly to the away games.

                          you didnt see anything. ?

                          Are you sure?

How about Hargreaves and Anderson keeping Gerald in there pocket the entire game.

How about Rio and Vidic keeping Torres in there pocket too.

The only decent attempt I personally believe you had was when Babel had 2 shots which had some thunder in them, if they was on target who knows, you may of won..

Im not saying Liverpool are crap btw, Playing you guys at Anfield for me is always our toughest fixture, we would of been lucky for 1 point last season yet stole all 3 from the legend that is O'Shea (cough) and the game at weekend wasnt fantastic but I think we did enough by keeping your key players quiet so your more average players didnt have enough in the tank to overcome ours.. (Even after what seemed like a 40 minute attack in the 2nd half)

I Still think you need another BIG name midfielder and get rid of Kewell, he is dirt.

Likewise, didn't see much in the way of Ronaldo, Rooney or Tevez (except when he scored )

Well that's cheating if they keep an extra player called Gerald in their pockets!

Exactly. Man U got a lucky break when that ball fell to Tevez - we had two similar chances that instead were scrambled off the line. Torres and Gerrard were not at their best I admit, but we were the better team on Sunday, and most other days we'd have taken our chances.

So no, I don't fear going to Old Trafford, although you'll probably fluke a last minute winner as always

I thought Tevez played mint, he was all over the pitch, made moves and plays for the other guys, was playing defender half the time, his work rate is fantastic and deffo the star striker buy of the season

Ronny and Roony had a quiet game but 14 goals in 15 now for Ronaldo, he has to have a quiet game at some stage eh
