Face it, over the 120 minutes Chelsea were the better team and so deserve their place in the final. At any rate, it serves Rafa right for his mindless attack on Drogba.

A couple of seasons ago the entire footballing community was saying he was diving. Benitez pointed it out. Its clear he falls over at the slightest touch, like a lot of players do. I wouldn't call it mindless.

I dont think I have an opinion on who I want to win the trophy now. Good luck to both teams, lets hope the media don't seize on the fact Benitez took Torres off when he did. It really wasn't that pivotal.

Someone told me Benitez said Torres pulled his hamstring or summit.

At least he has a month or so till the European Championships to recover.

Also, Crouch has been on his way out for most of the season. Benitez has tried to use him as sparingly as possible for this very reason. The beginning of the seaons Crouch openly questioned Benitez's decisions regarding himself and angered the boss.

On a brighter note, this shouldnt affect the value of Liverpool. Thus meaning the American ownership can be bought out quicker. Heres hoping anyway. We need some decent wingers and we'll be away.

It was on the post-match interview on sky. He was asked why he decided to take Torres off and that was his reply.

Don't get me wrong as I rate Drogba as one of the best strikers I have ever seen. But at times his antics are an embarassment to football. The theatrical diving is like something you'd see in monty python.

Chelsea deserved it and no more. Liverpool didn't take their chances over the two legs and that's the price you pay at this level of the game.

I don't mean mindless as in there's no truth in Rafa's criticism of Drogba (even the most devote Chelsea fans are aware of Drogba's amateur dramatics), I meant mindless as in stupid. Stupid of Rafa to criticise Drogba right before the match because it cleary spurred Drogba into producing a scintillating performance that effectively won Chelsea the game.

For me i think both Man U and Chelsea deserve a lot of credit reaching the final becase both Barca and Liverpool have both been out of there respective title races for a good while now and have there for been able to rest players a lot n the build up to there semi finals whilst United and Chelsea have been trying to put out full strength teams virtualy every game whilst going at each other tooth and nails.

Plus i feel Rafa did himself no favours in slagging down Drogba is it just totally inspired him tonight and he was almost unplayable and Benitez would have been better leaving Drogba well alone.

Was a pretty fair game, the ref did well overall I thought as the conditions weren't great. Like a few have said already there wasn't much in it but Liverpool failed to take their chances. C'mon United I'd be happy with 4-0 a team playing the football and behaving the way Chelsea do should not win anything.

Benitez is a knob , he spend over 150 million and Liverpool are as poor as ever , and light years behinds the top 3 , and more or less a 3 man show .

Benayoun is a joke - West Ham were laughing all the way to the bank , Alonso needs to go back to Spain and take the joke that are Reina (such a poor keeper) and Bemitez with him. Its almost shocking , how poor the Liverpool squad is and how far away they're are from ever trying to make a Challenge for the title.

I wouldn't say Reina was a poor keeper. I think he's rather smashing tbh.

Still bad result, was a nice little comeback near the end with a glimmer of hope, but it wasn't to be.

So next season, I reckon we're loosing Crouch, and Benitez. Anymore for anymore?
