But Owen has shown over the last couple of years he clearly isn't a goal scorer anymore. Either its a big confidence crisis and soon he'll explode into action or he is just a bit **** now.

Either way I'm happy, for other reasons, not to have Owen at Liverpool. He was very good, I'm just waiting for him to prove it again because I personally think its only a matter of time. But right now its taking a bit too long and wouldn't have done Liverpool any favours in the midst of all these injuries.

Real bad luck in terms of injuries and some results too.

Desperation makes players play who should be resting, players go all out to try and avoid bad results and push themselves past their limits, players get disheartened and make sloppy mistakes that increase injury chances.

Good a goal was scored, hopefully the game will be more interesting to watch. Don't really mind how this game turns out, suppose Liverpool taking points off of City is better for Chelsea though

Players who should be resting shouldn't be playing, how can I or you possibly know if say, Aquilani should not be playing? If the manager thinks he is fit enough to come on as a sub, then all we can do is have faith in his decision.

It's not so much him but other players. For example playing people with hernias.

When are we going to learn to defend set pieces properly? When we change manager or when players use their nouce and have a look around the box? Skrtel, should of paid attention to where Adebayour was.

I know it's harsh, but Lucas should of at least headed on target at the end there. Lacks real quality. Masch is a great holding midfielder. Do we really need two? Someone with a bit more class is needed next to or just ahead of Masch. Lucas played well, but that's not my point.

Forced to make 2 subs in the first twenty is never ideal but we sat back after the goal. The players should KNOW that we have not protected a lead all season (pretty much) so we cannot do that. I don't know what is happening to Skrtel but was badly at fault for both goals - to get in front of Tevez and let him back at it for the second goal was unforgiveable. Weakly gave away the first corner and then didn't mark. We really badly need some consistent defensive work.... from Agger
