That'll do I suppose. Nice victory and sets up a decent semi final vs Atletico, easier than Valencia, I think. I'm quite happy we got Fulham this weekend too, both teams will be as tired as eachother seeing as they both played tonight.

All England final anyone? Saying that I think Hamburg could be a bridge too far, they are looking dangerous with Van Nistelroy scoring for them.

Gotta hope this home form can drag Liverpool to nicking fourth from Man City or Spurs. I live in hope but I dont think its a realistic target now. Especially with Chelsea visiting Anfield soon.

Also he is a Real Madrid youth and Castilla team player who was deemed not good enough, so he had a pretty big point to prove.

Another great game for Lucas last night. Made up for him.

Yup, looks like Rafa has learned to let him off the leash. I really hope he can start doing that in the Premier League now. Benitez really does try to keep two holding midfielders at all times as a massive guarantee for defence, obviously it doesn't work when the 3 central midfield choices are Gerrard, Lucas or Aquilani. Every single one of those is attack minded.

I'm finally glad Lucas' sceptics are coming round to his quality.

Doh, no Torres today. Injured. Lets hope its only a small thing.

I still feel, looking at the team, we have enough to beat Fulham. Aquilani starts too, which should be interesting. I wonder if Gerrard or Aqua will play alongside Mascherano? Unless they play two up top with Babel and N'gog, but thats highly unlikely.

              Torres is injured again?

Gah, what a ridiculously one sided match. Fulham didn't even manage a shot at goal until the 91st min, I can't believe we've bloody gone and drawn that

Oh well, that is 4th well and truly gone now

Just watched the game and domination without really doing anything. Media will be w@nking over Fulham again for this result no doubt, but we are just average at best.

Just turned the tele on and the Manchester Derby popped on. Can't watch it though since I can't will Man U to win even if it means giving is a chance to get 4th. If Citeh win I would still be happy regardless of whether it basically meant we lost 4th.

How does everyone else see it?

So, 2 points behind Spurs and they have a game in hand.

European football pretty much guaranteed now. Cant see Spurs or Man City or Villa slipping up enough to create a chance for us to nick 4th. The media are still saying we're in the run for it though.

Relying on 2 teams to lose 2 games and the other 2 to drop points iirc. It's probably more complicated than that but Liverpool are relying on too many teams to do badly to have a chance at fourth.

Liverpool can finish on a maximum of 68 so you'd need Spurs to only get 4 from 9, City to only get 5 from 9, and Villa to only get 4 from 6. Even then it'd be very close on the goal difference against either Spurs or City.

The fact that City are playing Villa and Spurs might help. If both matches are drawn that's four points dropped by City and a couple dropped by Spurs and Villa. Long shot but possible.

If we weren't playing Chelsea next I'd be far more optimistic, but I really can't see us winning that. Even if we did that would hand Utd the title so there's no happy ending out of all of this regardless of what happens

There's possibly a very big story coming that for reasons that cannot be talked about, cannot be described (yay for Labour and freedom of speech).

Has it been debunked or is there another media circus incoming?
