Yeah. that was quite encouraging, although when the proper football starts I'm still not sure if i'd trust Gerrard in the middle. At least he looked enthused again though, mopey Gerrard is not a nice thing to watch.

Can see why a red was given (studs showing) but I thought it was harsh. Yellow card at most. Pretty much his first tackle of the game.

Gutted we couldn't hold on, but I'll take that draw. 1st game of the season nerves against Arsenal had my arse twitching from the off, then down to 10 men at HT. Fairly pleased with a draw.Comment

Gutting dropping two points like that. Did feel Arsenal would score at the last knockings though, could see it coming a mile off.
Now we know how Spurs fans feel, it's normally them that conceed late goals chucking away a couple of points

I remember Kuyt went off against Everton once for a similar tackle. Both were flying blocks, yes it looks dangerous as the player is out of control once in flight. Fair enough, but yeah, a little harsh being first tackle too.
I do stuff like that in footy games. Something EA and Konami need to figure out
