ezee, ronny boy dived very blatantly three times. i know he has "stopped" guess it would have been more. Really annoyed - the game just did not go well. All Man U pl;ayers quiet (kept) but Stevioe was too deep and yossi did not do enough on his side. Kuyt just did not look on it at all....Comment

Think it was more of our big players out played your big players ie:Ferdinand over Torres Anderson over Gerrard ect and the game was decided by one moment in lapse of concentration which is what these games are normally decided by anyways.Comment

tbh you guys are not proper title contenders yet, you still lack a midfielder in the mold of Roy Keane, I think Gerralds better days are past him, he was more like David Blaine today and disapeared not long after kick off, only to do his usual penalty diving later on.
Riise was shown up most of the game too and Kuyt is possibly even worse than the man called Heskey you used to have.
You HAVE to admit, Tevez and Anderson were the stars of todays game along with Hargreaves
To win yet another 3 points at the Kop is just the icing on the cake..

You can't at all say it was the manager's fault. As most of you have said the game was poor, due to the fact that our players could hardly seem to pass to one another. That's down to the players, not the manager.Comment

Crap result, but I'm not buying all this negativity. Assuming we win our game in hand, we are 6 points behind United and 7 points behind Arsenal. That's not insurmountable by any means. I thought we were the much better team yesterday, we just lacked a cutting edge up front (which is annoying as we've been scoring for fun lately).
Yes we need a good run, yes we need to win at the big boys places, but it's doable. We're much better placed than in previous years and I think our performances this year have been the most consistent since Benitez came. Believe!Comment

I didn't think there was much in it, tbh. Ferdy did a job on Torres and all over the park everyone was pretty much cancelling each other out, bar the crap marking on your part for the goal.
In anycase, one question - why is Kewell on ahead of Babel? When he came on, he looked a genuine threat, where Kewell was useless.Comment
