Wigan at Old Trafford tomorrow night and nothing less than three points will do.

In other news, Van Der Sar has been granted compassionate leave after his wife suffered a brain haemorrhage. Our thoughts are with Van Der Sar and his family. Here's hoping his wife makes a swift recovery.

Wow, this is the best I've seen us play in ages. 3-0 up and in all honesty could have been a lot more.

Great performance. A few more to eat into that GD please.

Wasnt much of a game for us tonight to be fair as Wigan didnt offer anything all game and pretty much stood of us allowing us to walk right through them at times, but at least the passing and movement was good and we got a few goals back on Chelseas goal difference and i thought Valencia was pretty outstanding tonight although like i said it was easy peesy for all Utd players.

It doesn't matter that Wigan were poor. There have been plenty of teams that have played badly against us in the previous few months. The difference is that we put on a performance and absolutely dominated them and got a result that reflected that.

Too many times this season when we've played poor opposition we've failed to capitalise and scraped by with scrappy 1-0/2-1 wins.

For us to come out 5-0 winners in such a convincing fashion is very encouraging.

Leeds won 1-0. Didn't have the game on. Surprised on this even if United did put out a weaker side..

What a result! Wasn't much of a weakened side by the end of the game - if anything it should have been 2-0.

This is the biggest result for us since we reached the Champions League semi-finals.

It was hardly a weak side that United put out, and Leeds were the better team for a lot of the game including coming very close to scoring 2 more.

That was an ace cup tie. Just what the F.A Cup needed. Bet Sir Alex is having a go at his players right now.

My brother just called and said the United side was a pretty much full strength 11. I am shocked!

Adds even more spice to City game in the week though doesn't it.

Entertaining game and a well won by Leeds. Didn't just sit back and really put them under pressure for large chunks of the match. You sit back on an early 1-0 against Man U and you've already lost

It wasn't the full first choice 11 but it certainly wasn't a team of kids either.

Chances were few and far between for us and the ones we did get Leeds did a good job of nullifying them (and were a little fortunate a couple of times too, especially Wellbeck's shot).

Was a pretty good game overall though but as 80 minutes rolled around I actually wasn't bothered about equalising as a mid-week replay is not what we need at the moment and I'm not really fussed about the competition as a whole this year.
