If Fergie comes out and complains that there wasn't enough stoppage time I think we'll all know that he's taking the piss.

Mind you, how funny would it be!

EDIT: Quote from the bbc.co.uk/sport :

"1925: About halfway through Fergie time, but it's Birmingham on the attack. Alex McLeish looks nervous, Fergie perplexed."

    LOL

**** that and another frustrating performance and i suppose in the end we should be happy leaving with a point, but still cant see why Fergerson played Rooney up on his own with a chance to take top spot, thought Valencia played well and Kuscak once again but once again not good enough all round which ive said to many times already this season which looks like will end fruitless if this inconsistancy continues.

Fair play to Birmingham though they defended realy well and got in amongst UTD and in truth could have won it.

At the moment there is an over reliance on Rooney to score the goals, and when he is not firing on all cylinders you wonder where the goals are gonna come from.

We must keep Rooney free of injury.

I fear Rooney could be burnt out by the world cup.

To be fair this was the team that were it not for a blatant dive and dodgy offside decision would have beaten Liverpool and Chelsea respectively so walking away with a point is not bad at all in my opinion. Birmingham are on a very good run of form. I think their goal came against the run of play. In fact it may have been there first bit of play in our box when they scored but that's what we get when we don't make enough chances with the possession we have.

Too many of our players seem willing only to pass the ball back or sideways. No one seems to be able to go forward and take players on. And it was so strange to see us seemingly playing for the draw at the end rather than try and win it.

Oh and listening to Jon Champion on Setanta is laughable. He REALLY doesn't like us XD

You talking about this season? The Torres goal offside? Ferdinand played him on. As for beating us, we were the better team all the way. Sounds like you might be talking about another match though.

Oh if he's talking about Birmingham, then yeah sound. Liverpool played really **** that day and every other day apart from the Man Utd match and the odd Stoke and Hull game

EDIT: Oh you changed your initial reply!

                        Comment

I did, because I wasn't sure myself who he was talking about! So just in case, I didn't want to look a foolish as you mate!

My initial thought was that he was referring to Birmingham because of the "walking away with a point isn't bad" bit!

Yeah I'm on about he matches of Liverpol and Chelsea against Birmingham.

Birmingham have performed very well against the big four this season with the only people to really beat them convincingly being Arsenal I think.

What are you smoking and where can I get some?

Birmingham were very, very lucky to get the point that they got at Anfield - and that's being kind. We battered them throughout. They got incredibly lucky with a rarer-than-golddust Chucho Benitez goal and a PES-style fantasy effort from Cameron Jerome (the likes of which he will NEVER score again in his life, let alone his career), all of which was AFTER they went a goal down and were looking like they might've copped a serious hiding. After we made it 2-2 (in a match Liverpool should never have been behind in), they defended for their lives.

All that said, fair play to Alex McCleish and his team for their current run of form as I truly didn't think that they would maintain it. I still think that they will end the seaon mid-table at best.

Same as what you had when you claimed you deserved the win over Villa.
