We had how many 3-0 wins in a row, playing 4-4-2? And then he goes and changes it for the most important match of them all? More baffling stuff. If we somehow scrape through, there's a case for sacking McClaren anyway and putting in someone like Lippi just for the tournament. I don't see what on earth McClaren can achieve if we do somehow make it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAhahahahhaa!!
Thank goodness, justice has been served.
Hopefully this will be the best thing to happen for English football.
Sack that idiot of a coach (he should fall on his own sword tbh) sack some of the clowns in the fa, get a DECENT manager and get our over payed football muppets actually playing cohesive football.
Good stuff.

I can't even cry, they simply don't deserve my tears, but i have been physically sick and I'm shaking whilst typing this.
I thought my dream of qualifying, after we were 2-0 down might happen and atleast we'd get a decent manager for the Euros.
The team looked ****, we're far better than that, but hey, you wouldn't know it, Crouch was outstanding, but, isn't he always, dispite what people say, just look at his touches, not in tonights game, ****ing always.
Bye Mcclaren.

Largely comes down to that old chestnut of too many foreign players in the Premier league. England's first XI is quality, but the squad is wafer thin on quality once we get a few injuries. Look at the players who were playing today, how many games have the 3 strikers out there played this season between them?? Two of them can't even get in the Spurs side for christ sake, and this is the best we have?!
Too many foreign players is without doubt damaging the national game, not enough English players are getting the chance to play regularly at the top level. Just look at Arsenal's squad ffs, Gooner supporters might as well follow Lyon and be done with it.
But then this raises the argument as to whether English players are good enough, if they're not forcing their way in. I've always thought there should be a cap on foreign players in domestic team's squads, the EPL stands for the English Premier league after all...Last edited by Oh_Mutants; 21-11-2007, 21:18.
