On the bright side, see ya McClaren! Even if we somehow got this back to 2-2 and scraped through, surely McClaren's position is still in question.

I've seen a lot of TV and paper talk that he's improved as an international manager over the second half of the qualifying but I don't see it. We used an untested formation against Croatia before and lost, and now we've done the same again (why only one up front???). We lost against Russia because he didn't change players / formation to react to the changes Russia made, and it looks like he hasn't made any changes so far in this match.

Edit: Am I the only one now thinking that the best result will actually be a loss? England team in general needs a good kick up the ass and a thrashing tonight will hopefully encourage one.
