We've sent out Kakuta on loan which is probably the right thing to do given he's not really playing. Unless he has a blinder at Fulham I'd be surprised if he comes back. We tend not to takes players back after loaning them out.

Chelsea are getting a load of rubbish transfer news linked to them this window, someone somewhere is making stuff up.

Not saying it's impossible but until Chelsea themselves confirm it I'll call it BS by default.

Also, in his current form he's worth 30mill at best.

If Spurs signed everyone the papers had linked us with for the past few years we'd have a squad of about 1,000 players now. I'm convinced all the newspapers have two really big hats, one with player names in and the other with club names. Pull a bit of paper from each hat and they've got their "World exclusive scoop!!!"... Tossers.

The difference is we're not just being falsely linked, clubs keep lying about Chelsea having actually put in bids. Piennar for example never even spoke to Ancelotti (he seemed genuinely surprised when press talked to him about it for sure) and the club themselves deny a bid took place.

Then there's that £63million bid for Aguero and a central defender. Yes we wanted Aguero but he made it clear he wouldn't go to us and we're past paying stupid money for players. Why would we do a bundle deal when our biggest target this window has been Luiz?

If these were businesses rather than players people would be in jail if they said this kind of thing.

Not sure if the Torres bid is real or not. But Sid Lowe from the Guardian said the Athletico Director made up the bids for Aguero and Golan (or whatever his name is). But some people may ague we sent Kakuta out on loan to make room for new players. I hope we get David Luiz.

I think he is still the most regular scorer from open play since the start of the Premier League (.64 goals a game, no pens, no freekicks).

Sky are now saying Torres has asked Liverpool to let him know the terms of the offer and that Chelsea offered 28mill at the weekend. I'm not just taking this with a pinch of salt but a whole handful.

Chelsea are just making bids for everyone it seems and they know the other team will reject. Their manager doesn't have a clue about them. Lets see what happens when a team says to Chelsea we accept.

Everton kicking us around the park, Malouda gets fouled everytime he has the ball and will Neville make double figures for fouls before he gets a card?

Bit of a boring game though, we've had a couple of good chances but not much free flowing football.

It's annoying that Everton can't come close to filling their stadium for a high profile game yet still give us a tiny allocation. They're quiet too.

Bale had the same problem with Neville in the couple of games we played Everton this season. Constant niggly fouls. How he never got carded at WHL I'll never know.
