going out in an early round is nowhere near as bad as losing the final. Whilst this is embarassing, the outcome itself is a 'meh'.

We need to sort out penalties though, that was the 5th in a row we've lost. Wayne bridge shouldn't have been taking an early penalty that's for sure.

Papers are saying Drogba will be out in Jan. Don't think that'd be a bad thing. He's never fit and hasn't performed well for a long time. Depends who's available to replace him though.

To be fair, the guy has been through more than a fair bit of off-field drama over the last 12-18 months (alcohol addiction, dad's death), and he worked his socks off in Inter's 1-0 win over Juventus at the weekend.

I get the strong impression that if man-managed properly (something Scolari is clearly capable of), Adriano could be one hell of a player for Chelsea.

Chelsea were shocking in the first half. We looked like a team in a lower division there. Can only improve in the second half.
