You lot might have to plunge into the transfer market what with Joe Cole being ruled out for the rest of the season.

lol, where does that leave Utd then?

Do we have any fit players for the weekend's match? O_o

Our midfield and forwards are mostly ok, no real concerns there on the injury front. It's just our defence that's been badly hit with injuries, although hopefully Rio and Wes will be back for the Everton game at home.

Until then we're gonna have to make do with a makeshift defence Spurs and West Brom.

2-0, good result, this was going to be a tough game. Hopefully we've got some form and confidence now. Liverpool dropped points too.

It's amusing that we're second but we're getting very little press again. It's all about Liverpool and Man U

Not surprising considering that both ourselves and Liverpool are the most successful teams in English football with lots of tradition and prestige.

Thanks Kongster, that really cheered me up. Instant Chelsea Putdown!

It's funny because it's true. TRADITION.

I do agree that in amongst the reporting of Liverpool dropping more points, it has kind of been glossed over that Liverpool have actually dropped to 3rd place (albiet on goal difference).

However, I also feel that Villa's position in all this is not getting the credit they deserve. They are a single point behind both Chelsea and Liverpool. If they win their match on Saturday they move into second and Chelsea or Liverpool need to win to regain it. A draw at Anfield leaves them both behind.

O'Neill deserves a lot of credit with what he's done there over the past few seasons.

Such fine traditions of getting us banned from Europe and harking on about their history because they're not gonna win anything in the present.

That scoreline also represents the number of European Cups we have compared to yours

That's really, really brilliant that you post a video that has absolutely no significance, to either the fate of Utd that season or Chelsea FC. The first one, the 5-0... that was the season Utd won the league with 91 points and 95 goals, yeah?

Played on the Heysel reference too, well done.

                                Better?

Oh and Heysel was just the last staw. Focusing on the fact that people lost their lives in that one incident doesn't stop the fact that Liverpool fans reguarly caused trouble abroad, more so than teams from any other nation at the time.
