Even when Carvalho was fit Chelsea still had trouble defending set pieces. In the past it wasn't a problem for them.

Carvalho is indeed their best defender though, and he is better than Terry but Terry get's all the plaudits.

God knows if it's true or not. As someone else said somewhere, Quaresma is like "Where's Wally?" on transfer deadline day

My thoughts exactly. A poor man's C.Ronaldo. I remember when loads were saying Liverpool should sign him on various forums, I checked the You Tube vids and yes, he did a few flicks and his crossing from the left with the outside of the right foot were pretty impressive. However, I've never seen him do this in real-time (outside of them old YouTube vids).

Liverpool played Porto in champions league against him and he wasn't very good. Also, he was poor in the Euros 2008.

You never know, he may be good. He's got one of those "I'm the best at stepovers and everything football" attitudes like C.Ronaldo, but more often than not just gives the ball away or gets greedy and plops it.

He's the most hit or miss player there is, nearly as overrated as Zlatan.

Yup, whenever he's been at a big club (Barca, Inter) he's flopped. He might have the natural skill but he just doesn't seem to have the right attitude to play well for a top team. If Scolari can get him playing then you never know, but it speaks volumes that even Mourhino has shipped him out just a few months after paying 18 million for him.

Quaresma could be very good - he will be very god. He will aloso be absolute ****e and frustrate a lot of people. It is a question of which occurs more. At least is a change of pace for Chelsea. Not sure he is what you need though,

Mind you, we already have Kalou who alternates between good and incredibly frustrating.

The player who is basically propelling Inter to the title. After doing the same thing last season. And Juve before that. He is a great player - he could do a lot better on the international stage (but so could majority of the Premiership's stars!) but Inter are rubbish in Europe.
How often do you watch Zlatan?

Also, if you are basing this on his exploits against Liverpool, then think again. Liverpool have successfully shackled most of the best players in Europe over the last few years. Such as Messi, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo etc.

Gotta agree. I'd rather have him in my team than Quaresma, but, most people agree that Quaresma has flopped at big clubs while there are still a lot of people who talk about Ibrahimovic winning world player of the year!!!! He's good but he does often go missing in big matches.

So in terms of being overrated, Zlatan is actually more overrated, even if I think he's more likely to do well for a team
