Chelsea should have had a penalty for the handball for sure but Chelsea have played ultra-defensively from the 10th minute whilst Barcelona continued to press.

It's always a risk you run with a one goal lead especially with the away goals rule.

And Ballack totally lost it with the referee. Will be interesting to see what happens there.

I'm beyond pissed off to be honest. You couldn't ask for easier penalty decisions to be given.

Ballack was right in the ref's face lol.

We had plenty of attacks, they fouled us every other attack! Sorry, anyone who can't argue the ref was a complete prat in that game is blind.

Chelsea should have put the game to bed against 10 men. Can't really have any excuses. Barca were poor for most the match until the end. When they went down to 10, you should have punished them.

Looked a penalty at the end tho i must say amongst others. Ballack will get a ban for that tho i would imagine.

            Bad luck

Anyone who argues against the disgrace unprofessional behaviour from certain Chelsea players after the final whistle is blind too.

Ballack did a Keown on the ref.

Great strike to win the game and tbh Chelsea kind of deserved it. Sure they should have had 2 penalties but they also could have taken the game to Barca much more then they did after the sending off.

quite unbelievable really but that's the risk Chelsea took when they chose turtle tactics. The best defence is sometimes attack as all it takes is 1 mistake, I guess I feel a little gutted for Chelsea but well done Barca for fighting to the end.

I think the behaviour was justified. There is no excuse for that incompetence by the ref.

One bad decision you can grudgingly accept, 2 you'd have a moan but there were at least 4 there that were beyond argument. We did attack a lot. At least two of the penalties prevented goal scoring chances.

Even the pundits on sky were fighting back the temptation to lay into the ref. It's a complete disgrace.

                      Counter-attacks. There's a difference.

For months you've been lamenting "lesser" teams coming to Stamford Bridge, parking the team bus in front of goal and trying to catch you on break.

That is exactly how Chelsea played this once you got your lead.

Truth be told Chelsea should have killed the game off long before Barca scored. Drogba had a great chance to make it 2-0 in the second half.

Credit to Barca they kept going and even with ten men they took the game to Chelsea's eleven men. Yes Barca got lucky, but they made their own luck.

No it wasn't justified. The referee might have had a poor game but that doesn't mean its justified to hurl abuse at him and put your hands on him.

I agree that 2 pens were stonewall.

Big disgrace by the referee. Tis a shame really it descended into what it did. Sublime finish by Iniesta though. Quality goal.

The best team over the 2 legs won for sure.

Jamie Redknapp is talking absolute **** about the ref being from Norway and thusly being poor btw, doesn't make one jot of difference. He knows the rules of football.

They weren't the best team. That was barcelona's first shot on goal.

Yes they got bad decisions but that sort of behaviour is just disgraceful. You know if that involved United (or Liverpool) players everyone would have been "disgraceful", "disgusting" and so on. Same rules apply here, they are professional footballers and should not be reacting like that.

EDIT - They just showed Drogba, absolutely shocking.
