Just be happy to be in contention at this stage of the season, and enjoy it for as long as you can. I think this season may have a few more surprises in store, the top teams really aren't playing well so it's anyone's guess what'll happen

Lets see in five weeks after we've played each other .. it's far too early to write anyone out of the top three out yet (can't see Villa or Arsenal topping the table at any point tbh).

Any of the top three could win it. Chelsea don't look like favourites at the moment. Man.utd could surge ahead easily. Liverpool are strong, but.. could get a fews draws, even losses.

I'm really enjoying the season, though Chelsea are playing pretty poorly, which isn't making me happy.

Yeah, It's one thing having a close top 3 but Chelsea have been playing some incredibly dull football (partly due to our poorness, partly because of busses being parked). Last two games have been better because the other teams have actively tried to score.

Hoping for a signing or two in January to help us shake things up when we are being frustrated.

I love Chelsea and hope they win the league, but please Abramovich, sack that dumpling Scolari, and give us some Mourinho like magic manager, or bring back Avram Grant, whose record was second to none to me.

I love and hate to say it but I really miss the special one, he created a magic in british football, I only experienced with my Team Celtic, under O Neill(loook at how good he is doing at villa, and busting a gut just to keep fourth). He was charasmatic, and part of the whole chelsea brand, and had a bond with players that only him and o neil, and clough have ever had.

I long for the return of some glory to stamford bridge, but I am afraid that old dumpling scolari can't even pick a team, never mind make them play. I mean cmon guys seriously....anelka,....Drogba......DROGBA!!!!! Drogba has to be first on the team sheet every week, the guy is an enigma.

In general though, the more hyped the chelsea man u games are, the duller they are. I do think Benetez may have done us a favour and rattled ferguson (and the officials) though.

Pretty much over now.

We're looking a mess. Our defence is disorganised, our attack consists of trying to play the ball around the outside of the box hoping that the 8 or so players we give time to get back in defence suddenly dissapear.

Melodramatic maybe but we've played awful football for a while and it's only lots of points being dropped by other teams that are keeping us in it.

Is it Ray Wilkins (our form nosedived after he arrived), the manager being out of ideas, the lack of fresh signings and unmotivated players (drogba and deco)?

Completely and utterly hopeless performance. I'm just not enjoying watching Chelsea at the moment. What the hell was he doing putting on a kid 2-0 down with 10 minutes to go? The best you could hope for it to destroy his confidence and insult the fans who'd at least hope you'd make a fight of it, even with the bleak circumstances.
