Arsenal really should of challenged better, Chelsea have faultered, And Liverpool (Jezz)

They should of been the main 3 to beat band-wagon fan Utd to the title. Not this season.

More super injunction fun, this one's fairly lollersome given how he's viewed. Seems pretty certain this time who it is. Given the PM has got involved this one won't stay 'secret' for much longer I'd wager.

I'm not sure I blame him though:

This Man City game is just painful.

        So dull.

...but it looks like they've just booked their Champions League travel plans for 2011/12, unfortunately.

Not over yet. West Ham are due a win, right?

Haha - I've just done the BBC website's predictor. I put Spurs down to win all their remaining games, which I don't think will happen, and City to drop points at Everton (quite possible) and Bolton on the last day of the season. Spurs finish 4th by one point....

And the likelihood of us winning our last five games? Zilch....

              Comment

I think both Spurs and Man City will drop points in the run in.

If Spurs beat City then the last Day of the season could swing it in Tottenhams favour as they play Birmingham (who arent very good at all away) at home and Man City have that hard looking game at Bolton to go too.

Course spurs do have to win two games more than city with only 5 to go. So its not gonna be easy no matter what way you look at it. I would imagine most people (besides city fans) hope they pull it off though.

I would expect Spurs to have to beat Man City away, then win one of the other two away games - Liverpool and Chelsea - to have a chance. Then, they'll have to do something really tricky - beat two lower half teams at home (Birmingham and Blackpool). Given how they've dropped points in their past eight games to Wigan, Blackpool, West Ham, West Brom and Wolves, that should fill City fans with hope...

It's the draws that have killed us this season. We've actually lost less matches than Man City and even Chelsea, but we've drawn nearly as many as we've won. It's clear advantage City now but I'm definitely not giving up hope. We need to click into form right away, a repeat of our brilliant form from the end of last season wouldn't go amiss! I'm being optimistic and putting a bet on Keane to score the winner against City, he can still be a Spurs hero again

I had a season ticket at Highfield Road when Keane was at Coventry. He really was a great forward, Inter Snapped him up from Coventry!
I'm saying he's gone past his peak, but he does know how to finish...I like Keane.

Keane has been one of my favourite Spurs players. His first stint at the club, especially the final two seasons with Berbatov, was great. Just a shame he never recaptured the magic when he came back to us from Liverpool.

Classic stuff from that knacker Cascarino in The Times the other day.

His top 5 flops of the season:

                            1. Mario Balotelli
                            2. Jordan Henderson
                            3. Benni McCarthy
                            4. Santa Cruz
                            5. Joe Cole

Interesting. There's a name there that sticks out a mile and reeks of ignorance. Why he's got our player in there is unfathomable. I can think of half a dozen bigger flops at our joint alone. The twat says that he hasn't kicked on after his England debut. What? Kicked on how? He was poor in that game against France, but played totally out of position. He has been very average in the second half of this season, but we're talking about a 20 year old here in his second Premiership season.

He is a flop by what criteria? Transfer fee? Expectation? He cost nowt. The expectaton was engineered by media hype in their age-old method of 'hype-em-up, knock-em-down'. His hack cronies are the men who fuelled this. I'm leaning towards the idea after this season that he'll be a decent Prem player, but an international future is highly questionable. That still doesn't constitute a 'flop'. What a cockchower Cascarino is. Where are the bigger flops in that list? Torres - 50 million! (oh yeah, sorry, Cascarino played for Chelsea, didn't he? Funny that) Ireland - two clubs and ****e/injured for both! (Ah, he played for Villa too! And he loves lumping in the Mags with ManU, Chelsea and Arsenal even though they've been nowhere near for years) There's even a case for players like Dzeko and Chamakh to be labelled bigger flops. I 'get' that adjustment to the league is often necessary, but they've both hardly showered themselves in glory considering their pricetags. Bebe - the same age as Henderson and what-his-transfer-fee-was more expensive. Gudjohnsen? 9 appearances this year for two teams, and no goals.

Also, where are the other 'media hyped' youth players who haven't pressed on this year? The ones who aren't regulars for their first team? What a tosser.

Mario Balotelli, biggest flop of the season? A twenty year old who's scored 10 goals in 22 appearances while adjusting to a new club and country? Okie dokie Tony....

Balotelli is hardly a flop but he is certainly a knob.

Football commentators are becoming increasingly pointless, except Robbie Savage. Listening to Graham Taylor on 5 live last night was a chore. He was banging on about Carrick being a world class player and about the best passer of the ball in the PL. What a crock!
Carrick is not awful, but he often looks out of his depth at Utd and in the higher echelons of the game. At Spurs he looked good in a solid team but even they have moved on now. The guy is clearly average. He suffers from a lack of confidence in big games and often gives the ball away in dangerous situations.

Why is Robbie Savage the only pundit to call an average player average?
