Gotta feel for Wigan fans. At least those who turned up anyway (empty stadium is empty).

To be fair on Kirkland, I thought only one of those goals were really caused by him.

      More ****!

Stelling said on SSN that our Premiership away games record (presumably since we came back up) was 7 wins in 66 games. That's horrific. Relegation form if it wasn't for home form.

Teams like West Brom should be defeated by a team with aspirations for a higher mid-table finish. These ****bags just didn't earn the right, and were beaten by a better team. A totally abject, lifeless, bollockfest. Bruce and your band of men, I hope you chunder in your beds tonight, and roll in it.

Some interesting ref decisions today. Still not sure how Everton didn't get a penalty instead of a free kick. They scored from it anyway.
And goal line technology zomg etc

Define "caused" by? I thought about 3 of them might have been stopped if he were any good, imho he's a **** keeper, thought of in higher regard because of his nationality. Whilst he may not have "caused" them (****e defending to blame for most of them) he should have done more! Wigan loaned our keeper (Al Habsi, a very good keeper actually) and he's sat on the bench...it's stupid. He's a far better keeper than Kirkland.

If I were a Wigan fan, I'd be pretty concerned at the moment.

Can't believe we beat West Ham again, they must absolutely hate playing us! Upson proves me right yet again though, nowhere near international class. Cahill showed him how it's done yet again, but he still won't get a kick for England.

Villa are getting torn apart by Newcastle. Their defence look like they have never played with each other.

Seeing Nolan in that shirt, now with added captains armband...I still don't like it!

I have a bet on 3-2 to Newcastle so I'm hoping for an almost but not quite comeback from Villa.

Really surprised with that result. The Toon will have even more confidence than usual now.

Does that mean Barton will get rid of that 'tash?

3 6-0's in a single weekend. That has to be a record.

Well done to Fulham too, deserved draw. Awful referring though stonewall penalty not given, awful penalty given. Thankfully didn't feel like it affected the game too much despite them.

Well, the Mags certainly ringed Villa up the star. The Toon will be awash with Fat Geordies celebrating, and rightly so.

I look at their next handful of games:

                          Aug 28 Wolverhampton (A)
                          Sept 11 Blackpool (H)
                          Sept 18 Everton (A)
                          Sept 25 Stoke (H)
                          Oct 2 Man City (A)
                          Oct 16 Wigan (H)
                          Oct 23 West Ham (A)

then I look at ours -

                          Aug 28 Man City (H)
                          Sept 11 Wigan (A)
                          Sept 18 Arsenal (H)
                          Sept 25 Liverpool (A)
                          Oct
                          2 Man Utd (H)
                          Oct 16 Blackburn (A)

and I know how will be in better shape come Oct 30th at Sid James' Park for the first Showdown. I see us getting 1 point maximum out of that lot.

Don't think they liked Peter Odemwingie much.

£8000 fine here we come...and they wonder why this **** is still going on.

That banner is being displayed by fans of his previous club, Lokomotiv Moscow, it's not in England.

Thankfully racism is quite rare here now, even hearing some moron shout out "you stupid insert ethnicity here ****" is something I very rarely hear at matches (I'm struggling to remember the last time I did).

Of course you do get some stuff slipping through, like that pathetic Adebayor song. Maybe one day we can be rid of all of it.
